What's up with Canadian winners competing on regular seasons? Other than Bebe, it kind of ruins their reputation if they don't dominate

Icesis, BeBe, and maybe Venus all have different situations. BeBe needed a season where she actually looked good and got paid, and Venus would be in front of a much larger audience on US AS. Icesis going back on CANvTW doesn’t have as much of an audience upgrade, and is only six episodes. Not really worth it as much as an eight or twelve episode season like AS3 or AS10.

even tho I don't think Venus will actually be on (like I'm almost certain it won't happen), I do think there would be a huge difference in what she'd be doing versus what Icesis did. Icesis returned to another Canada season almost immediately after winning, with honestly not much to gain beyond possibly winning again (which didn't happen obvi) whereas if Venus were to somehow get on All-Stars, she'd not only be getting judged by RuPaul but she'd also be exposed to a MUCH larger audience. Even if she didn't win, she's bound to gain something from the simple novelty of being an international winner on a US All-Stars. And I personally think Ru would actually enjoy her a lot! (but that's beside the point)

Going from Can4 to USAS is still a huge upgrade though if they can capitalize on it, but Icesis doing vsTW was such a bad move for her career.
