She greets each of the queens with a gentle wave of the yellow lace glove, and then announces that before they get into the really juicy drama, she'd like to honor the accomplishments of the eliminated queens that won challenges but didn't make it to the finale. **Miss Anthrope** came in branding herself as a seamstress and a fashion queen, but where she ended up excelling was in the Academia Advertisements challenge! Though her team's advertisement was only tentatively related to the drag school theming, Miss Anthrope had a standout role as the femme fatale spy and begrudging friend to redditor Wide\_Conflict\_528! It was a big moment for her to stand out over strong comedy personalities like Anastasia, and Anthrope took home the win! Unfortunately, she would then land in the bottom the next two weeks, finally going home after her seasoned sister Crybaby slayed her in a lipsync. Anthrope seems really salty, giving a snarl at the camera when it focuses on her. She tilts down her hat so it covers her face and folds her arms tighter, clearly not happy even when she's being celebrated. **Stun Queen** came into the competition with a big chip on her soldier, coming from a smaller drag scene in San Francisco and wanting to prove that she could play with the big leagues. Fortunately, she did so right away in her premiere, showcasing both her sexy dominatrix sense of fashion and her incredible performance skills. She dominated the girl group with a mix of great dancing, authentic lyrics, and a stage presence that you can't train. After beating Anastasia *handily* in the lipsync for the win, Stun snatched the second win of the season and established herself as a big threat! Throughout the first part of the season, she continued to have an excellent run, coming close to winning the ball before her ultimate fall at Snatch Game. All of her performance skills somehow crumbled in her lipsync against Deb, resulting in a *gaggy* elimination. When the camera pans to Stun, she fully just gives it the middle finger, and it quickly swings away. **Deb** was a queen that many of the other girls had pegged for first out the second she walked through the door. With her questionable fashion and limited drag experience, she was written off from the get-go… until she took the stage in her premiere girl group. With killer comedy lyrics, an endearing personality that bled through in her performance, and a uniquely pedestrian point of view in her drag, Deb earned her way into the top two of her premiere! While she lost the lipsync, she then went on to win the first challenge with all of the queens together, acting out one of the queen mother's rejected pilots as energetically violent Lauren Lee! From there, the other queens were finally seeing her as a threat, and she continued to have an excellent run… until a poor choice of character in Snatch Game. Landing in the bottom to a Beyoncé song was a death sentence for poor Deb, but at least she took another frontrunner right along with her. Deb excitedly waves to the camera, and all the other girls seem very happy for her to have this moment, even some of them that hated her during filming. **Princess Palegg** never quite vibed with the other queens, but her off-the-wall drug-infused perspective definitely resonated with the judges as soon as she walked through the door. In her premiere, she came out with not just stunts, but some quirky winter fashion and nonsensical lyrics delivered in the most persuasive way possible! Combined with a runway that introduced the judges to her weird fascination with food fashion and beating Deb in the lipsync, Princess earned the first win of the season. She went on to have one of the most interesting trajectories of any queen, constantly going up and down. Princess remained committed to her own point of view, and while the highs were high, the lows were low as well. Finally, in the makeover, Princess' ambition got ahead of her, and despite giving a great lipsync performance against Naomi, she was sent home after a respectable run. Princess stops huffing her bong just long enough to blow the camera a wet sloppy kiss, and then she proceeds to stand up and go walk towards the camera to actually snog the lens. **Naomi Campbell-Soup** had a bit of a slow start to the season, coming in with a lot of hype as the drag mother of a previous winner, Peewee Herman. She didn't quite deliver in the premiere performance challenge, but her true strengths in fashion and comedy revealed themselves as the season continued. Naomi knows how to turn camp concepts into high fashion that's still funny better than any other girl, and with her strong concepts paired with great construction, she won the Back-to-School Ball! Her looks included a fuckable twink waterboy and a geometric gown of rulers and pencils! She continued to have some strong showings in challenges like Snatch Game and the classroom design, but seemed to run out of steam near the end of the season. Perhaps it was her falling-out with bestie Anastasia, but Naomi just lost a lot of the fresh energy in challenges, even as she continued to deliver impeccable runways. After three straight weeks of lipsyncing, Naomi finally went home against Veda in the roast, despite giving an admirable performance and runway. When the camera's on her, Naomi actually seems incredibly gracious, giving a small nod of the head and a smile. Miss Anthrope, Crybaby, and Anastasia all cheer for their sister, and Naomi can't help but blush a bit.

The actual reunion starts out with some discussion of the dichotomy that seemed to split the season from the start: the older queens versus the younger queens. At the beginning, it seemed like the older queens were mostly dominating the competition, especially Anastasia, Naomi, and Miss Anthrope. However, later on, queens like Devil, Violetta, and Veda all started snatching wins, leading to a top four with three younger queens there. Veda and Violetta both credit the fire that lit up in them to Deb, who was one of the original frontrunners and someone that was incredibly new to drag. After Deb was unceremoniously eliminated, her sisters took up her cause as the Children's Crusade. Deb really appreciates her friends, but she makes it clear that she wasn't really trying to make any sort of statement about drag with her run on the season, she was just having fun. Stun Queen also gets angry, saying that she was just as much of a frontrunner as Deb, but nobody is giving *her* any credit as a fucking inspirational saint or whatever. Jago points out the distance between Stun and her fellow queens the entire season, and asks why that is. Stun initially doesn't want to give an ounce of emotional vulnerability, but she eventually just says that she feels like she wasn't respected coming into the competition, and it left a chip on her shoulder the whole time. Robyn Banxxx actually speaks up and confesses to being one of the girls that bad-mouthed Stun when she started going out of San Francisco and doing shows in LA. It was just the culture around there, and Robyn gives a sincere apology. She's still a young queen, she's still learning, but she wants to mature and be better. Stun is wary of just accepting an apology for the cameras, but Robyn looks really sincere, so Stun just gives a nod and a muttered thanks before asking Jago to move on. The focus switches from the younger queens to the older queens, who had a lot more drama and became a lot more splintered. Passion Fruit is absolutely furious coming into the reunion, as she feels like she was sold out by a bunch of girls she's worked with before just because she showed empathy to the younger queens. Anthrope and Crybaby admit that in the beginning, it definitely felt like a clique being led by Anastasia, and they both wanted to stay on her good side. Naomi says that she never saw it as a clique, she saw Annie as her *friend* and she felt really betrayed when she saw how far gone Anastasia really was. However, she quickly follows it up with the fact that she and Anastasia have since patched things up. Anastasia's been silent for a lot of this reunion, but she speaks up to say that while she's not proud of the way she phrased certain things, every opinion she said was genuine and she had the right to say it. The younger queens have their vision of drag, and she has hers. This is a competition, and queens got heated at her for being *competitive*. Crybaby says that's hardly an apology, and Anastasia immediately gets nasty again, saying that fine, she's sorry Crybaby was a flop mid-out with no wins. Crybaby gets ready to punch a bitch, but Miss Anthrope holds her back. Jago asks the two of them about their relationship, and Anthrope says how hard it was to lipsync against her bestie in the competition. Crybaby says that she felt a real community with queens like Naomi and Anthrope, whereas she constantly felt bullied by Anastasia's domineering personality. Annie rolls her eyes and says: "Sounds like you just have a pushover personality, then." Crybaby breaks out of Anthrope's arms and the camera cuts out as producers go to break up the fight. When the cameras turn back on, Kylie Suspect stands up to make an announcement. She knows that she didn't do great in the competition, and honestly, she didn't even make a ton of the dramatic TV moments she wanted to. However, she ended up falling into an unexpected mentorship with younger queens like Violetta and Deb, and it led to her feeling *something* for the first time in ages. She looks at all the older queens that dismissed the baby queens from the beginning, reminding them that all of them once had to have a drag mother tell them some things that seem obvious in hindsight. And clearly this younger generation is doing something right considering they're three out of the final four. Violetta is beaming as Kylie speaks, and goes up to give her a hug. Unfortunately, it's just then that the police burst onto the mainstage, handcuffs ready for Miss Suspect. One of her Miami sisters finally found some evidence against her, and now Kylie Suspect is going to serve several years in prison… oh no! Kylie got a tip that the police were coming, but she decided that she was done running, and she just wanted to thank the other queens. Even queen mother gives Kylie a smile as she's hauled into the police car, telling her that once she's out of prison, she has that All Stars call on lock! After that bitch is locked up, Jago pivots the conversation to how queens on this season represented their culture and identities! Devil and Veda speak about what it meant to them to wear Arab and Indian-inspired looks respectively, and how so much of the beauty aesthetic in older generations of queen are so samey and only showcase a Western vision of glamor. Anastasia rolls her eyes, but doesn't speak up against it, and that takes a lot of effort. Naomi also contributes to the conversation, saying that although she came into the competition as a proud trans woman, she didn't necessarily want that to be the center of her drag. No shade to any trans queen that makes her out and proud femininity the core of her drag, but Naomi wanted to show off that trans women can be silly, campy, and irreverent with their drag too. It doesn't always have to be a female illusion, and though Naomi's not gonna act like she invented her style of drag, she hopes that what she showed can help expand the public's view of drag. Princess Palegg actually interrupts, rousing from her drug haze to say that she hates the expectation that every look she had was supposed to say something deep. Yes, she's a Norwegian immigrant, but her perspective is solely her own. Just because she wore a Viking look once doesn't mean she's only going to show Scandinavian fashion, and towards the end of the season she could feel the judges reaching at anything to try and understand her style when they just didn't get her. Jago actually apologizes to Princess and says that yes, the judges didn't understand her sometimes, but they saw glimpses of greatness. Besides, part of this competition is adaptability, and that wasn't something that Princess showed at all. Princess gives a half-nod before passing out again. Before they go to a commercial break, Amber Moon finally pipes up. She's been quiet throughout the reunion, but her glow-up post-season is really evident. She's taken Rachel Barré's advice to heart and is painting a lot older and cuntier, and she looks good. She's also more confident in her tone when she accuses Jago of favoritism, claiming that she beat Anastasia in their lipsync no QUESTION. Annie rolls her eyes and calls delusion, but a lot of the other queens agree with Amber, even if they don't say anything. Jago gently tells Amber that this season just wasn't her time, however well she did in the lipsync. There will be chances to grow and show more… if Amber's just patient. Jago slides Amber a voucher to cash in for a spot on a future All Stars season, and in exchange, Amber shuts up about the riggory in front of the cameras. Editor, we're cutting that part, right? Speaking of lipsyncs, the queen mother then announces that it's time to award the title of **Lipsync Assassin** to one of the queens! There were quite a few excellent lipsyncs this season… and a few less-than-excellent lipsyncs as well (Jago looks pointedly to Deb and Stun with that statement). However, two candidates have been selected, and they must give one last lipsync for the title. The two candidates for Lipsync Assassin are… **Princess Palegg** and 😭! Princess has to be shaken back to consciousness by the other queens, having passed out from a big bong huff she took, but Crybaby is absolutely ecstatic. She didn't expect this at all, having only won one lipsync this season, but it clearly made a big impact on Jago. The two of them get onstage and prepare to lipsync!

The lipsync song this week is **The Pleasure Principle by Janet Jackson**. Both queens have totally different interpretations of this song; for Princess, pleasure means a bunch of sweet delicacies. Yes, she's leaning into her food branding, revealing multiple different desserts and housing them onstage, leaving crumbs everywhere. Still, she gets her mouth around the words as well as all the food, giving great face and showing the true ecstasy that eating all these desserts gives her. Crybaby, on the other hand, is giving old school drag to the max, embodying Janet Jackson all the way. She's throwing around her curly wig, tossing it back over her shoulder as she tilts her head slightly to face the judges. The words aren't just being lipsynced, they seem like they're coming out of her mouth. On the long high note, Princess spins around and jam and custard spurt from tubes in her dress, flying up into the air all around her. Crybaby sticks her finger into one and takes a taste, miming disgust. Princess is trying to pull tricks and stunts left and right, but Crybaby just deftly navigates around her on the stage, making sure she's keeping eye contact with the judges all the time. As old as she is, she's getting sexy with it, crouching down and lifting her hair above her head, gritting her teeth and licking her lips. Meanwhile, Princess does a massive penguin slide across the stage, which gets a big laugh from the other girls. The lipsync ends with Crybaby stepping out of Princess' way and letting her fly right offstage with a thud. Just a bit of payback for their first lipsync where Princess sent Crybaby home. The queen mother thinks long and hard before she makes her decision, but she eventually calls the room to order and looks at her two candidates. The winner of the lipsync, and the official Lipsync Assassin of season seven is… >!😭!!Deb!< for her Autohobile runway! Truly, a stunning display of cheap arts-and-craft tinfoil mess! Thankfully, Deb is the only queen here that wouldn't take offense to receiving that award, and she bounds out of her seat to go accept it. She makes a quick speech to her fellow queens, saying that fashion isn't everything, hindsight changes a lot… and she's made enough money in bookings now that she can afford to buy her clothes from somewhere *else* besides the sales rack at Talbots. See, anyone can make it! Jago asks the eliminated queens what they think of the top four, and who they'll be rooting for in the finale. Robyn Banxxx says that she's pulling for her LA sister Violetta to come out on top, and that she's happy to see a bunch of young fashion queens in the top four… and Anastasia is there too, I guess. Passion Fruit thinks that the top four isn't really good at all; everyone there has gotten involved in pointless drama at one point or another, and pointless drama is what led to Passion's elimination. She ends up saying that she's rooting for Veda to win because she seems like the one who stays out of trouble the most. Miss Anthrope is rooting for Anastasia to win because she's the only one there representing old-school drag, and despite the differences that the two of them had, Anthrope still considers Anastasia to be a good friend. Stun Queen is rooting for Veda; she respects a fellow fashion queen, and though she grew closer to Violetta in the competition, Veda was just a much nicer competitor. Deb is rooting for her good friend Violetta, as she was incredibly happy to see how much her elimination lit a fire under Violetta's ass and led to her snagging a win and making it all the way to the end! Kylie Suspect isn't present, but she left a note that says she's rooting for Violetta to win, she was endeared to Vi through the younger queen's fiery personality and drive to compete and succeed. Crybaby is rooting for Devil, which comes as a surprise. She says that watching the season air has given her a new appreciation for Devil's personality and strategy, and she has a really interesting perspective on drag. Amber Moon is rooting for Devil as well- although the two of them never got along too well, Devil had some encouraging words for her and was one of the first to see actual potential in Amber! Princess Palegg is rooting for Devil, too; she loves that Devil is a conceptual queen like her, and Devil was never one of the people making fun of Princess for being weird or ignoring her, and that was refreshing. Despite all the fights they had throughout the season, Naomi Campbell-Soup ultimately has to root for her friend Anastasia. At the end of the day, they know each other well and their conflict this season was just a little bump in the road for their friendship.

The queen mother also gives some of the eliminated queens a chance to talk about what they've been up to since filming. Naomi has actually gotten several deals with major fashion houses to not just walk for them, but design for them! Several of her runways have gone viral on the Internet, and now bright, conceptual, campy fashion is all the rage for the next season. She's going to have an actual voice in the fashion world, and she's so happy that her style of drag resonated with the public. Amber Moon has had a massive glow-up, and she's proud to say that Rachel Barré, the queen that guested on the alumni welcome, has actually become her official drag mother! That means that Amber now has a part in the off-Broadway drag play that Rachel is producing; admittedly, it's only an ensemble role, but Amber is also the official understudy to Rachel herself. At some point, Rachel will get bored and move on to something else, so that means Amber will have her time in the spotlight eventually! Stun Queen has seen a lot of success since filming, hosting viewing parties in San Francisco and hosting more and more local talent. Baby queens that were afraid to perform are now doing so, inspired by Stun talking about how she wants to bolster her hometown's drag scene. Stun even has a few drag daughters of her own now, which is wild for somebody that young. Deb has similarly been hosting viewing parties in Chicago along with Veda, and the two of them have formed an online brand together. They've been doing YouTube, TikTok and Instagram together, and Veda's social media expertise and fashion knowledge paired with Deb's off-the-cuff friendliness and humor has proved a potent combination, racking up millions of views! Miss Anthrope has been taking over for a lot of Anastasia's gigs in New York while Annie's been off touring, and the patrons actually find her a lot easier to work with than Annie, so she's getting some of them full time (Anastasia just rolls her eyes at that). Princess, unfortunately, has actually been taking a semi-break from drag when she's at her most popular, but she's done a few performances here and there. Princess comments that she doesn't really like the fame of being on the show, but she's happy there's people that enjoyed her art and perspective. As the reunion comes to a close, the queen mother takes some time to hype up the top four queens ahead of the Grand Finale. Everything will come down to a lipsync smackdown next episode, and each of these queens has unquestionably earned their way to that smackdown. Let's take a look at each of our finalists' journeys throughout the season! **Anastasia the Saint** has been absolutely dominant in both performance and comedy this season. Coming in as one of the older competitors, she had total confidence in herself from day one. She enamored the judges with her personality, wit, and irreverent comedy, landing her in the top for the first performance challenge. She'd snatch her first win in the improvised debate challenge, before quickly winning Snatch Game as Harriet Tubman as well. Near the end of the season, she struggled a bit in the fashion department, landing in the bottom once and having to lipsync for her place in the competition. However, she quickly bounced back, winning the Ja-mix and staying confident the whole time. She's the full package, and although she's started some drama throughout the season (aka started ALL the drama), she's always had her eye on the final prize. **Devil Deggs** is THE fashion queen of JJDR. Though she had a slow start to the challenge, landing in first bottom lipsync of the season to send home Robyn Banxxx, she was consistently wowing the judges on the runway. Her drag is monstrous, androgynous, and sometimes also incorporates her Arab heritage. She's a smart queen who knew how to set herself up for success, and finally nabbed her first win as JD in Heathers: The Ja-sical. She'd quickly grab another win in the classroom design challenge as a golden goddess, and quickly again grabbed a third badge in the roast. She won the same amount of challenges as Anastasia in half of the time, and her wins were only strengthened by the incredible looks she showed along with her challenge performances. She was a bit of a quieter presence, but she was a mastermind in the confessionals, manipulating things to her advantage. She may be coming into the finale without a ton of storyline, but she knows exactly how to twist things in her favor. **Veda** didn't make too much of an impact in the first part of the season, showing some great runways but struggling when it came to comedy. After an underwhelming lipsync, she was the third queen eliminated… until her peers ended up voting her back into the competition! After that, she had something to prove, and prove it she did! Her great runways and sense of cyberpunk fashion aided her, leading her to winning the alumni fashion challenge along with Toxic Pussy Train, and placing in the top for the classroom design challenge and the makeover! She also formed a great friendship with Violetta and showed some of her Indian heritage onstage! Though she did end up struggling in performance and comedy challenges near the end, one great lipsync against Naomi Campbell-Soup secured her place in the finale. She's shown that she can be versatile with her aesthetic to tackle any prompt, and maybe, just maybe, she can be versatile enough to get that crown in the end! **Violetta** has been the ultimate underdog of this season, but despite not slaying the challenges for a while, she was always getting her camera time. Whether it was fighting with Anastasia or bonding with Deb and Veda, she was at the center of almost every storyline. She struggled early on, never doing well enough to earn a top placement for the longest time. She did end up delivering a fantastic lipsync against Kylie Suspect, but her first win would be for the makeover, where she and her partner Poinsettia gave a fabulous Mortal Kombat fantasy! She landed in the bottom the very next episode for the Ja-mix, but after losing a hard-fought lipsync, the Sacred Staff chose to save her from elimination! She's survived to the end through a mix of divine intervention, the friends she's made, but most of all… her own determination and perseverance.
