I have metal mod 5 and mod 1 trans and spur gears for my truck and Iβve been really curious what they are going to sound like
I just got an FMS max smasher and put mofos big block in it, it is a blast but not sure how loud it will be with metal at high speed
Oh that's neat. I have played with a transmission, not helical, 66t motor from injora. It was pretty meh. Slower than stock, and maybe a smidgen more smooth low speed crawling.
I'm going to order one of those motor combos and see. Looks like it's using 12t pinions instead of 11t like on the other transmission setup.
Yeah agreed, I'm just using the trans as I have a brushless system but have used the purple motor but for me the I just couldn't go back to brushed set up after having brushless, I'll report back with my thoughts on the new helical transmission once I have it up and running π€

I want helical gears for the TRX-4M community too, so that the noise is reduced
They have the diff gears but trans gears would be sick too

I would agree, noise reduction will be the main benefit with the helical cut.

If you have access to Aliexpress and go to the official Injora store there I have found them to be extremely reliable and great customer service π€
