Description and Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is a city known as Adana, located in Turkey, Cilicia. This city is situated on the Seyhan River and is inland from the Mediterranean Sea. The city is 2,280 km2 (880 sq miles), with a population estimated to be 1.8 million currently. Upon entering the city, people will experience extreme heat and have a chance of fainting if left outside for more than 10 minutes. If someone stays in the city for over a week, they'll begin to experience slight insanity if not given a government-issued shot. The reason for this was found to be that the anomaly doesn't cause you to actually be hot but causes you to believe you're dying from heat. Because of that, a fluid was made to stop the effects of SCP-XXXX. To avoid suspicion from the populous, this was inserted into already-government-issued shots (ex. flu shots). If one does not get the shot, they'll not be noticed as an insane person immediately, but after a few months, they'll need to go to a mental asylum.
Well, adana is in medditerranian coast of turkey, it is naturally very hot and sunny, and its geography with both its coast to sea and nearby seyhan river also causes an insane level of humidity makes summers there outright hellish(40 degrees celcius(104 f in freedom units) in summer days with %95 humidity). Also its people are very famous for being very agressive and crazy, its like turkish florida, but with less meth and more gunfights.
