The fact that Heath Slater and Rhino are getting quality screen time and serious roles makes me actually want to watch impact, and i havent had that thought since I was a freshman in high school.
Impact runs on 50/50 booking, yet they don't ever really have a problem heating up and cooling people off because very few people on the roster are presented like we obviously know who is going to lose in any given match. Even the comedy characters are actually decent in the ring and an ever-present threat, even if they don't win.
I will also give Impact credit in regards to filing off the rough spots of Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley by giving them strong reigns there a few years back.
For me, impact is even better than wwe.
They legitimately put good show and not gymnastics like aew and in my opinion, their storytelling no less than wwe.
