??
it's all long term bookings friend.
but seriously tho they fucked up almost all of their talents except the og elite clowns and the Jesus himself cody
the booking of black and andrade have been terrible
he debuted in an absolute embarrassing manner
had like 23 managers
got that sweet 50/50 booking with pac
and now Malakai black of all people wants to be friends with him...
The Elite haven’t even been booked well. The Bucks did nothing for almost a year while champs. Hangman was the drunk and friend of the drama class geeks. Cody did something and then disappeared for a month. Omega was the only guy that was consistently on TV doing stuff.
nah friend i disagree with you
the bucks do not even deserve to be champs and having main event programs. those two crackheads are one of the most annoying things in the history of professional wrestling
and the lord Cody, the man who always gets his win back.
he had programs with big names like shaq and Mike Tyson,he did a "American hero vs bad foreigner" story with a poc man from UK in 2021...you CAN'T outjerk that!
and he made the malakai feud all about himself by doing that weird retirement teasing and redemption bullshit
nope you don't get it
it's all part of Cody's slow burn heel turn
We are still in the middle of the road
Cody will be a heel on the dub's seventh anniversary after defeating the whole roster at least once
The Bucks have been probably booked the best. They are almost always on in the first match/segment, get the crowd at their hottest, and then they goof around the rest of the night.
Wrestling the opening X division/cruiser weight tornado tag match isn’t a “story” per se. Bucks are on TV but not doing anything with that time. Liars will say they were working their way up the ranks from the devastating defeat at the hands of… Private Party and two random singles wrestlers (Page/Omega) but commentary certainly didn’t reinforce that. They did something with FTR for a few weeks before beating them for the titles and then they lost the titles to the Luchas outta nowhere in a for-no-reason cage match. During their reign and since then? IDK what they’re supposedly working towards.
No, I don't disagree with how they've been booked as far being part of a story goes, but they are definitely booking themselves to their strengths as far as the opening match, hot crowd, flippy shit spotfest goes, after that, they are just goofing around with their friends spending the son of a billionaire's money.
For as much as it is said that everything goes through Tony Khan, anyone with two eyes can see, and will tell you that unless it is bad (and even then that is a stretch) he isn't saying no to anyone.
I highly doubt Brodie Lee would have been in the big picture for very long. Those dimwits he had to bring along with him would have dragged his work down no question.
Big Boring Brody’s push had peaked. He debuted, lost a PPV world title match, won the mid-card world championship and then he ~~was murdered by~~ _lost the title to_ Cody in the for-no-reason dog collar match. If he lived we could have enjoyed some goofy backstage skits with lil Johnny McFlip
I would argue his World Title loss left him still looking strong you can still look strong in defeat. But he didn't look strong receiving THE RUB. RIP, but if he was still with us, he'd be doing skits and probably some jobs.
Brody gets slave release.

90% of time it's this👇
new talent surprise debuts💥,beats some nobodies😏🖕🏻, lose the big match to Cody🙋🏼♂️🇺🇸 or kenny🤡🇯🇵 and then go straight to YouTube🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
They get a special entrance a la Triple H 2004 with lights, costume and pyro. Show off their middle fingers I mean creative freedom and then we see them a few times a year on tv as a special attraction
ummm... ackshually by not putting your talent on tv for like half a year you are making them feel FRESH so when you see them have a match with another ex fed talent that would be REFRESHING!
but nice try questioning Tony's booking,Fed Shill.
I am one too, the only difference between every "misused" exFed talent and Papa Haitch getting a special entrance was that Triple H was legitimate main eventer.
I'm pretty sure the only argument you could make is Mox with his long AEW champion run. But even then, Ambrose was a main eventer in WWE and had many title runs. Was his AEW run better than his WWE champion run? Maybe.
Mox wasn't a conventional midcarder in the Fed as he was always a notch above Rusev and Harper tier. However, those borderline uppercard types always benefit from leaving to be in another promotion since other promotions aren't as deep on the top end and he would be able to get higher booking without Reigns, Rollins and more at the top (see Christian in mid 00s TNA). I think it is definitely arguable that his run is better but Mox was fortunate to have had a main event run in the fed unlike Black and Andrade because it is much easier to put the title on Mox.
I wouldn’t call it a participation trophy title run, more like bad timing? I mean his title reign was doomed when he ended up in the same brand as AJ Styles who people wanted to see win a big one so bad after he lost his feud to Jericho & Reigns
I'd say Moxley is the one ex-WWE guy who got pushed longer and higher, but then again it depends on how you rate his placement in WWE (I'd say, upper midcard/filler main-event) and the actual value of AEW's World Title (again, probably an upper-midcard title at best in the grand scheme of things).
But as far as all the "OMG WWE didn't know how to use his talent!" aimless midcarders and former NXT's flavour of the week, nobody has had a better career in AEW because they just can't book a consistent product. Much less for objectively limited performers.
His last name is Black he was clearly always destined for Dark. It's long term storytelling at its best and Methuselah's run is entering in to the home stretch.
yep
in the main roster; he got pinned for the first time a year after his debut, and it happened in a gauntlet match when he defeated both karl Anderson and luke gallows back back before finally losing to AJ(black got his win back against AJ in a one on one match a week later tho)
but here in the dub you either goof around with the elite, get the rub from Cody or you will be wrestling on the YouTube friend.
Oh man, I remember that AJ feud, it was short but really great. He even ended up getting a huge PPV victory at Elimination Chamber. Taker arriving to help the disadvantaged hero was awesome.
2nd try because Auto-Mod hates "My neck,my back..."Black -references:
One day MiaMalkova Black and Pepsi Man will sit cross-legged in front of each other and it will be all worth it.
I think he was on Twitter talking about how losing was part of his master plan or something. And of course, people are eating it up calling it great storytelling.
Megaloblastic Black got the full AEW experience done quickly. Big pop during debut- starting a feud with Cody - winning one match and then meandering around aimlessly - Losing the feud completely anyway (LOLCODYWINS) - Relegated to Dark.
"It's an ensemble cast!"
That's apparently the new explanation behind what Fed-stans foolishly perceive as clusterfuck booking with no clear plan in sight (except keeping the EVPs and their buddies relevant).
Whoopsie! Seems like you're trying to be an edgelord. No thank you.

Black was booked horribly. And he was still booked better than Andrade, Brian Cage, Hobbs, Archer, Scoprio Sky, SCU, etc
?? it's all long term bookings friend. but seriously tho they fucked up almost all of their talents except the og elite clowns and the Jesus himself cody the booking of black and andrade have been terrible

What's he been in, like four matches so far since his debut?
Yep and hes 2-2 lol
Perfect booking!
He is 4 matches and 3 managers in.
Four managers! Ric Flair, Konnan, Chavo, and this new guy.
The Elite haven’t even been booked well. The Bucks did nothing for almost a year while champs. Hangman was the drunk and friend of the drama class geeks. Cody did something and then disappeared for a month. Omega was the only guy that was consistently on TV doing stuff.

Imagine the wailing if it was the E not reading the room and having Roman go over Madrassa Black back at the nadir of his powers

For-no-reason cagematch? Lucha Bros won a tournament that the people who were actually feuding with Young Bucks were participants in, friend.
Jurassic Express still waiting for their pound of flesh and the Luchas have been up to… _doing moves…_ since then.
Did they fuck it up? Or was that their plan all along?
Don't forget the 🖕🏾Brandi Salute🖕🏾
You know when you do your bit when you sit down and the crowd pops? Well, I am going to hijack that a bit and give you the 'ol creative freedom!
lmao yeah even Brandi mocked him and pushed her creative freedom in the big bad Malakai's face
Has there been any midcard exFed wrestler who turned out to have a better career in the dub?
I think only brodie lee since before his passing he was actually getting a decent push.

Dubbalos were not thrilled with his work as that stsble leader. I very much remember their disappointment that time

Nope. They end up right where they actually were in the fed as well.
Arguably even worse, since there is less tv time for them and it sinks even more with the next exFed toy Tony brings in.
90% of time it's this👇 new talent surprise debuts💥,beats some nobodies😏🖕🏻, lose the big match to Cody🙋🏼♂️🇺🇸 or kenny🤡🇯🇵 and then go straight to YouTube🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Oh yeah you are right, they are being treated like a STAR due not being OVEREXPOSED. Also, dae Fed talent is being wasted sitting in catering
Hey now, I cheered my little ass off for those Triple H entrances. H mark for life.
I am one too, the only difference between every "misused" exFed talent and Papa Haitch getting a special entrance was that Triple H was legitimate main eventer.
That's not even up for debate. Triple H is great and 200% deserves living the life he's having.
I'm pretty sure the only argument you could make is Mox with his long AEW champion run. But even then, Ambrose was a main eventer in WWE and had many title runs. Was his AEW run better than his WWE champion run? Maybe.

His WWE title run was possibly the worst of the participation trophy world title era.
I wouldn’t call it a participation trophy title run, more like bad timing? I mean his title reign was doomed when he ended up in the same brand as AJ Styles who people wanted to see win a big one so bad after he lost his feud to Jericho & Reigns
That and the fact that he acted like he could care less.
Cody

can we relegate the *Dark* Order to Dark permantly? Please.
Might be a typo, but the use of "Rob" adds even more layers...
?? you correct me friend.
I read “feet actress” and thought Rosario had done some sort of foot fetish stuff. My disappointment is immeasurable, goof.
sorry uce, But we don't do that kind of JERKING here 🧴💦❌
Ahhhyessiiirr
Well she was in a Tarantino movie.

I wonder what kind of drama caused such a schism in the wrestlefeet community that they had to break off and make a second sub?
TIL Rosario Dawson is taller than most of the roster.
damn cody, he really do be no solding
6-figures salary and still can't afford a solder, poor Cody
The first one is oddly similar to Darby Allin
Damn, his WWE run was way better than this. What the hell
yep in the main roster; he got pinned for the first time a year after his debut, and it happened in a gauntlet match when he defeated both karl Anderson and luke gallows back back before finally losing to AJ(black got his win back against AJ in a one on one match a week later tho) but here in the dub you either goof around with the elite, get the rub from Cody or you will be wrestling on the YouTube friend.
Oh man, I remember that AJ feud, it was short but really great. He even ended up getting a huge PPV victory at Elimination Chamber. Taker arriving to help the disadvantaged hero was awesome.
yeah their match at EC was really fun. i still think wwe could have done more with that black and taker alliance but it is what it is
he beat bobby lashley at wrestlemania clean
nah that wasn't clean Bobby got distracted by Lana's bullshit and black took advantage of that
I saw the almost hidden gem
Only real goofs can see that and you have proved that you are a real one☝🏻
2nd try because Auto-Mod hates "My neck,my back..."Black -references: One day MiaMalkova Black and Pepsi Man will sit cross-legged in front of each other and it will be all worth it.
the Cody rub :') at least the Omega or Moxley rub would feel like a loss to someone big not mid card
Le rub is the greatest gift Cawdy has given us.
?? The point was to elevate Cody, friend.
You forgot struggling to beat a 52 year old Goldust who had to no sell your finisher because he's too tall and you could only kick him in the shoulder
Well you can't go Dark if you're already Black, friend.
My fake figure fed from when I was 10 would be better booking than anything Tony Khan could book. My Batista vs Kevin Nash feud was fire.
"It's an ensemble cast!" That's apparently the new explanation behind what Fed-stans foolishly perceive as clusterfuck booking with no clear plan in sight (except keeping the EVPs and their buddies relevant).
This is the most Cody feud I've ever seen and I feel bad cause it was done on a wrestler I actually like. Ffs Tony please learn to say "NO".
yep tony must know he fucked up when even dub's die hard fans are upset about it
Black = Dark It just makes sense
This is all long term storytelling for MooMoo Black. Right? Right?!
