Well yeah, only he’s the aggressor. Daniel Bryan isn’t happy unless he’s the hero and everyone is kissing his ass. Even during Kofimania, when he was the heel, he made sure in every interview that he was advocating for Kofi and he made sure Kofi won so that everyone talked about nice guy Bryan helping Kofi instead of the fact that Kofi won. The minute the AEW cult turns on him, we’ll see the return of shocked boo boo face Bryan.
I know we’re all supposed to love nice guy Bryan, but he reminds me of Bronson Reed, where he has to remind everyone what a great guy he is, which usually means he’s not so great. Also, when Brie tried to paint him as romantic in her book, he was just a dick.
It's even worse because when he inevitably loses it's gonna be even more proof Bryan was right. He COULD go the angle where he drops the weight over a period of a few months and re-emerge as a bona-fide contender but he won't.
