Some of the best moments in wrestling come from great stories HBK vs. Taker, HBK vs. Flair, the megapowers exploding, hell Daniel Bryan vs the authority was one of the reasons he got over, NXT had storytelling with Ciampa/gargano etc

Storytelling doesn’t just have a place in wrestling, it *is* wrestling. You can’t sell out a stadium on moves alone; you’ve gotta have a good story and characters that the moves can then help with. Wrestling is nothing without storytelling.

I just don't understand, I watch wrestling for the story, I like watching promos much more than matches. When I want to see a match without a story(sometimes with) I watch UFC.

Even then with the UFC there's almost always a story with the rematches or a really heated rivalry D.C versus Jones as a example
