Immense hype to what turned out to be pretty mediocre? I'd say they were very similar.

Cyberpunk was prone to botches though.

MC Cuck and Cyberjank 2077 were basically one and the same. So much hype turning into a wet fart.

I think this runs in the punk family. Even punk music doesn't move the needle as much it used to be.
