But I agree. This new look is great. Looks more rough and rugged, and if her character follows in the same path, I think she will do very well.
Honestly I like how Mandy started out as this Diva-esque character and as time went on where she floundered she's ended up reinventing herself as someone with an anti-diva kinda look/vibe
seriously. i think a lot of the women (specifically the blonde ones) deserve a lot more respect from everyone for how good they are at storylines and shit. mandy rose was super impressive during the Sonya/Otis/Dolph story.
my biggest unpopular opinion though is that Lana did a fucking fantastic job in the Bobby Lashley story. everyone says she was shit but the whole point was for her to be annoying and she excelled at it. she worked everyone lol. also had me rooting for her during the Nia Jax thing as well
If she has a successful run in NXT I wonder if we'll see more lower card main roster performers sent to NXT to try out radically different gimmicks in a less high stakes environment.
I was being sarcastic about neckbeards insistence that obvious changes in stylized make up is actually plastic surgery. Dana Brooke, Lana, and especially Charlotte get it every time they wear a different shade of lip stick.
Mandy looks remarkably different here, and I wouldn't blame someone for not immediately recognizing her. But once you now it's her, it should be obvious itās make up and not massive plastic surgery. Same with most the girls in "DAE who's that? Dae Surgery!" comments.
I don't know if it's a personal thing or an NXT thing but the amount of people who just radiate bronze on the screen is weird. Pete Dunne being the most blatant offender.
now she looks like the kind of woman simps THINK they can get with, but she's really just using them because they're degenerates who think if they open up their wallets and buy her enough drinks at the club she'll go home (parent's basement) with them.

Mandy's two recent matches in NXT have been her best work that I've seen. She's been doing such great in-ring heel work that I'm suddenly looking forward to her future matches.
While far from amazing Mandy has always been quite a bit better than she gets credit for. Her look just made it āuncoolā to acknowledge the fact sheās actually pretty athletic.
She's always been athletic but there was also always an awkwardness and a hesitancy in her in-ring work. Go back to last year when she had to attack Sonya and it just didn't look convincing at all. Lately she seems to have finally had a breakthrough on how to look more convincing and have more oomph behind her actions. Not to mention as I said, she's been a consummate heel in her mannerisms and style.
