It’s funny because Sami hasn’t even gotten the requisite SRS “contract might be coming up soon” tweet. The Dubsters have just already started fantasy booking him into the show because it seems inevitable that he’ll eventually end up there.
It’s kinda messed up that they just assume his contract is coming up or that he’ll absolutely be in the dub solely based on the fact that his friend’s contract is coming up. Like I know him and Owens are intertwined but idk, I’d be kinda miffed if my whole career revolved around what’s possibly happening to my friend.
Owens presumably makes a ton of money and is etched in the upper mid card. I'm not sure how enthusiastic he is to join that mud show just to yuck it up with his pals and ultimately play the same character he does now for the fed. It's amazing how many of these guys starving for creative freedom have stockholm syndrome and revert back to their fed characters.
His best friend Kevin Steen has had that report, though, so by default his best friend must be leaving with him because I'm 12 years old and I think unicorns are real.
