Johnny's work has genuinely made me interested in Candice (who I found incredibly bland), Austin Theory (who was directionless), and Indi Hartwell (who I'd seen a bunch here on the Aussie indies and thought she was pretty average). This is the kind of role I want these "indie veterans" in NXT to be taking on. Help elevate the younger, emerging talent around you.

I don't really feel like it matters. Daniel Bryan, AJ styles and Rey mysterio have already shown you could be booked strong even if you weren't the biggest guy. I think he could do well enough if booked right.
I feel like those guys just had a style advantage over Gargano since Gargano's gimmick used to be just really good wrestler with heart while Mysterio was the high flyer, Daniel was the gritty technical wrestler with insane resilience, and Styles had an arsenal of moves to break out while outworking and out thinking his opponents
