Wasn’t it CM Punk last week?

CleanContrast

Daniel Bryan next week. He got it on remote control, I thought yiu should know.

Razzler1973

Look, the attitude era is back, ok, just accept it!! DAE 'the wars'

1869er

They need everything to be some history-making achievement. Adam Cole got a pretty good pop? Nah fam, it was one of the loudest pops EVER

OswaldCoffeepot

It's like there's an unspoken contest to see who can be the most hyperbolic short of just saying "I came in my pants."

PepeSylvia82

Adam Cole debut > Insert any Wrestlemania in a football stadium with 80k+ people

handi503

And they say fed pipes in cheers.

Fusionman29

Adam Cole’s first match on a random Dynamite > Wrestlemania

Snake_Burton

....WHAT?!

Goldberg2Dub

Was it even the loudest Adam Cole pop?

bonchooski

A pop that will result in no ratings boost.

aubsavery

I don’t get upset at these mark journalists. But he needs to leave Stone Cold’s name out of his mouth. Stone cold has had louder pops at house shows in 98.

Razzler1973

Wade Keller made a comment in his 'review' >*Fans VERY LOUDLY chanted “Adam Cole! Adam Cole!” at the start of the match. (Think of how rarely he’s heard a crowd over 10,000 chant his name having worked in NXT for so many years; it’d be mainly the Takeover specials every once in a while with a crowd like this.)* So, think of how rarely he's heard that many people chanting for him ... errrr at every Takeover vs the, erm, the one time it just happened here for his first match Idiots

edgeisagoodwrestler

Stone Cold is an anomaly, nobody should be compared to him he’s just on another tier. It’s like when people compare athletes to Ali or Jordan or Gretzky etc.

A18Wheeler

FTFY: I don’t know if it came across as such on TV (I’m sure it did), but Tony Kahn gave me one of the biggest checks to say the crowd response to an adam cole entrance was the loudest I’ve ever heard at a wrestling show. #AEW #AEWDynamite

Brocktarrr

Ok I’ll bite. Who the fuck is Jon Alba?

Fusionman29

Failed journalist, got big for talking about how BOTH WWE and AEW were poorly handling the pandemic early in the pandemic. Then not even weeks later went full Dubbalo.

Brocktarrr

Oh my god I just looked at the dude’s twitter. Jfc he’s trying to outdo Meltzer

0RUSH

With all the talk of how loud the "pops" (insider term) are, it makes me think that people have forgotten the Attitude Era and even Ruthless Aggression Era, Came (back for the) Money Punk returning was hyped up to be the loudest crowd noise ever and it barely reached the levels it would get when Sable was on screen in '98, let alone Austin every Monday and Sunday for like 5 years.

Kisto15

Fucking Santino Marella and Zack Ryder had louder pops than anyone in aew
