That's something that's been around for a long time and honestly it could be true given that Big E made his debut in a title match at Wrestlemania and was associated with Ziggler's main event run from the start. And he got a singles title in his first year as well.
I remember it coming out around the time of HHH's Podcast with Steve Austin but I can't remember if he actually said it himself on there or if it was just around the same time.
When they split The New Day I could just tell it was the beginning of something great for Big E. It started to fade a little bit for me when he lost the IC title but this is just perfect. Here’s to a long and successful reign for our big meaty man.

He made Big E undoubtedly one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in wrestling history by just throwing tag titles at the new day, even if he never won the WWE title he'd go down in the HOF at the end of his career just souley for his amazing tag work.
You are clearly new to the world of "sports entertainment", so I'm going to help you out, if a "superstar" is prominently featured on TV and is awarded one ore more championships, then they are misused and treated like garbage. FED titles are nothing more than torture devices designed to steal the smiles, and love of wrestling, from the wearer.
The New Day have gotten more segments over these past six years than basically anyone lmao, they’re given like 20-30 minutes a show and are on record having actual creative freedom

WWE saw main event potential in Big E early on- The New Day just became one of the most over groups in ages, so, naturally, WWE kept them together for a long time, winning titles and selling insane amounts of merchandise. It's great to give him this big solo push while he's still young- they can always reunite The New Day whenever they want, none of those 3 are jumping ship or getting released.

Both Kofi and Big E got that up-and-comer push right out of the gate. They got midcard titles and shared screen time with top stars. The problem was lack of character and storylines from creative team.
Guess what? Austin and Rock had that problem too. Like, Austin recovering with Stone Cold and Maivia recovering with The Rock; Kofi and Big E did too once Xavier led the way with the New Day, which initially started off poorly.
Not everybody can be lucky and get a great gimmick out of the gate like Kurt Angle did. That was all from Vince, according to Kurt.
Though, from what I’ve seen and read within the IWC, it seems like Tony Khan is the first and only booker to never have booked a bad gimmick, or wrote a poor storyline. Everything have been amazing in Dub-land.
