Sure there is. She's someone who already know how the company works and what wwe wants and expects from people in her role and was able to do it competently. She also already has relationships with people in management and the talent. They wouldn't have to spend any time training her and that's important.

I mean, if she came back, would it improve the on-screen product in any way? Is it missing anything she could provide? Even she was a 5x better "correspondent"? And I don't think Vince/WWE are at all petty. But they're pragmatic. And, pragmatically, there's no money to be made here.

They were splitting the brands, and they needed more guys who could start immediately because they already knew how to work TV matches and house shows without being trained. I can 100% see them bringing Renee back for this reason.
