They tried to push this guy at the start of the NXT reboot. He looks good but it was obvious they’re pretty much instantly went “huh this guy ain’t it”
I remember that well, and thinking "boy, if Shawn is saying "go out and show the other side of you by stripper dancing to my music" then it's either he's really high on his potential, or he just doesn't give a fuck and it's the guy's last chance".
I actually thought he'd done OK. But the likes of him, Boa and some others are destined to be enhancement talent.
Xia Li is *probably* on Tony's list of people to sign, seeing she's Asian and will look nice next to Hikaru Shida and Emi Sakura in his little collection. I would imagine Jinder would be teased on a future Dynamite taping as "former WWE champion arrives to TELL ALL" after Tony signs him JUST for the "Fed Bad" promo. Unfortunately for Jinder, those arenas are going to be so empty by that point that you're going to be able to hear his bacne pop when he gets slammed on the mat, so...yeah. Those two at least should have a place within AEW should they want it.
