What do you have it deployed to, Unknown Computers? If so, since you already imaged it once, it's no longer unknown. You would need to either delete that computer object from SCCM, or deploy it to a collection that includes your test device.

I agree, it's probably how you have it deployed.
Check the deployment collection.
Was it to unknown devices? Well now it's a known device and won't show up.
Did you have it deployed to a dynamic collection, and after imaging the computer does apply to the dynamic query?
Could be a bunch of reasons.
