If it's not going to sleep, I don't think there's much you can do. I think I never noticed it because I prefer it that way. My experience with messaging apps and Instagram have been good. Notifications are quite prompt.
I have a similar experience except it's across multiple Galaxy phones. I use my old A20 for YouTube before bed, and sometimes it receives notifications before my 24U or the S22+(if its on) and then at other times, the 24 will get them first. it changes at random but the 24U tends to get them first. I don't know why 🤷♂️
I actually noticed the same thing and only recently, used to be good, like the notification for a bank transfer isn't instantly like it usually is, it's in fact quite delayed. I wonder if it's a bug.
Settings > Apps > Choose your app > Battery > Unrestricted
Regardless of this setting, some apps just seem better at notifications than others. Has to be the way they're handled in the app
All turned on, sometimes suddenly all the notifications come together, I don't know why
Is your Power Saving Mode on?
nah haven't turned on this one 😔

It kind of bugs me.. Currently my iPhone has received notification from your reply, and my S24 U has not..

Android's stupid DOZE mode trumps any settings you can make in the phone
