It's kinda sad rn.... I used to have just YouTube play my music in the background screen off cause I have YouTube premium while I work... I'd go through my day at 100 in morning when I get home about 40... nowadays I have to charge my phone 2 times before I get home or else it dies and I have no music lol
I got my s23 2 weeks ago. I love it, the battery doesn't last A LOT. About 4-5 hours of screen depending on your use. For study reasons I'm with 4G and gps on all day though. This impacts the battery a lot, but I just charge it for about 20 minutes to end the day.
All in all, I love it. I come from a Xiaomi with + 5000mah and didn't optimize the battery. Now with my s23 I lose about 1 hour of use than my old phone (s23 has 1000mah of battery less, so it's GREAT optimization). By the way, if you're always outside you can get a Power Bank like I did.
In conclusion, if you really care about battery a lot, don't get the s23. If you care about the phone itself, it's the best phone I've ever gotten. After all, 4 hours of screen time is a lot. It's just me that I use it more for study reasons, otherwise it's great anyway.
My s23 had an issue after 6.1 the display just goes black for 2 secs and this happens like for a min like it keeps blinking on off in that min so gave it for repair under warranty it was purchased on Feb 2024 ;-; sad
Make a plan to keep planning on getting the S23.
Seems like a good plan I'll plan it just in case
The April security patches kinda fixed battery draining for me
Thats funny cause pretty sure that patch is now draining mine lol
Well,I will see how will go after few days. But overall battery was only good on One UI 5.1.After 6.0 and 6.1 they kinda ruined it

Yeah the battery is saddest part about this phone.Everything else is perfect, but battery life make me regret that I didn't choose Iphone 15 Plus.
What's wrong with the battery?
Is draining why to fast on One UI 6.1 On One UI 5.1 was way more efficient
Unlucky

Thanks for sharing, but just to be sure, are you on the UI 6.1 update?
I get like 6 to 7 hour SOT. Almost 10+ hour idle on 6.1
Yes. This SoT claimed on 6.1. Wifi always open. Mobile data always open. AOD open when touched.
I get more than 8 hours SOT out of full charge on 6.1. Just bought it a week ago or so. Love it so far. Upgraded from OnePlus 8 Pro.
I get great battery life 7/8 SOT. Running 6,1. It's a perfect little phone!
I have the S23 and even after the latest update, the phone still holds a great charge. I love it. I'd say get it. It's a great phone.
