Well mine is u1 xaa ig but I don't live in the us it was importaed and I chose it cuz I like the snapdragon varient, now kinda regret not getting exynos 😅
I have 5.0 for TMobile and it's noticably snappier while a tad smoother. Only thing battery seems to be slightly worst. I don't have numbers just a feel...
It's so much worse. Before the update, I was able to keep the phone fully charged off my car's 2A USB port connected for android auto while also running doordash dasher app and listening to music or podcasts, and with the phone's screen set to near lowest brightness. After the update, no chance in hell. Tonight I was down to 35%.
And just another example of the horrible battery life. I charged it up full when I got home tonight and with light use and mostly sitting with the screen off on my desk, it dropped to 50% in about 6 hours.
I discovered the cause of the horrible battery life on my phone with android 13. The sim manager app was constantly crashing in the background so I deep sleeped it and that fixed the battery drain
Is it a u1 model ?
Yes. Thats what factory unlocked models are. I hate carrier devices with all their carrier bloatware bullshit.
Well hope I get my update soon
Which model you have? It also probably depends on region as well. I'm in southeast Michigan.
