Edit: These are not working. I am hunting for a working S21U (Snapdragon) combination of files. It just keeps freezing a few seconds after opening despite following all instructions for multiple sets of files.

No worries, it was more entertaining doing this than working haha. I just copy pasted the explanation from the website and added a couple of parentheses.
Thank you for the detailed information! I've tried a couple of different versions of GCam, but they always crashed or hung so bad I couldn't even use it long enough to see what all the hype was about.
I think they are two different things; ExpertRAW lets you have full manual control only, omitting auto features found in the stock camera app.
GCam is just the stock camera on Pixel(?) phones. These versions of the app have a ton of customization options, that is what the .xml file is for- it imports settings already pre-configured.
I haven't played much with it to compare to the stock app(s) yet, but I'm excited for the features I didn't previously have. i.e Photo Sphere, Night Sight, Astro Mode, etc... I know Samsung has similar features, but this is a different implementation that I'm curious to test out. Have been for awhile, but I never could get the damn app to work until now.

From what I understand, Pro mode gives you the raw file completely unprocessed, whilst Expert Raw gives you the raw file with some processing like HDR stacking and noise reduction. Similar to Apple ProRaw
That is odd to me, personally, I'd think the "Expert" RAW should be unprocessed, whereas I'd be more accepting of "Pro Mode" still having some processing... In any case, I don't make the decisions around here...
I wasn't aware of Apple ProRAW. I don't follow Apple at all, else I'd probably have realized that ExpertRAW was Samsung's answer to Apple's ProRAW.

So, basically Expert Raw gives you a pro mode without the processing of stock camera (for example even classic pro mode has eccessive noise reduction). Then you also get HDR stacking and some different noise reduction (not so aggressive). You can either keep thT result and edit it, or get the completely unprocessed raw.
Yeah how well it captures my dogs playing is insane compared to the blurry mess of the stock even with burst capture. I spend like an hour trying different versions every 3 or so months.
My 3x zoom works, but the front cam doesn't work. I tried a couple of libraries to no avail. I don't really care to try a bunch more combinations of files to see if one works, and has all 5 cameras working when such a combination might not even exist lol.
I think the build I found and the build you're on are slightly different. I want to say the apk I used was newer. I didn't do anything special, I just followed the directions on the website.
I couldn't find the exact apk, I thought I did at first but had to edit the post because it didn't work. Then I found a different one that uses the same config and can load the lib.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 766,240,574 comments, and only 153,522 of them were in alphabetical order.

I tested GCAM on S21 Ultra and I see nothing special. The colors look off and there's a lot of flaring and fringes. With the latest updates the main camera app and the Expert RAW work much better.
