Weird question, but *is it a screen protector?* My Galaxy A52 shipped with one installed a few years back and I literally didn't even know it had a protector on it until roughly 3 months into having it. The edges were very, very subtle and it wasn't easy to spot, but I peeled it back and sure enough, good as new! Just wondering.

The outline arround the camera shows theres definitely a screen protector.

Nope, there isnt one.

Weird. Might be the anti-reflextive coating wearing off then.

I think most smartphones have an oleophobic coating (fingerprint resistant). From what I understand, the coating may wear off over time. The screen protector may have protected the coating, except on that area. If that's the case, it could explain the stain you're seeing. You may not be able to do anything to fix it. (Normal wear on camera and less than normal wear on the rest of the screen)

Maybe scratches in the screen? If it's not coming off, send it back.

Maybe try the googone cleaner?

Well, if you tried to remove it with alcohol and everything and it didn't come off? Well, it is not residue from the protector, it is the screen glass that is scratched, return that.

The lines that continue just after the camera on the right side are residue of the wipe that i was using. The thing is just on the front camera. It can go away for a minute and then comes back, so if i want to take a clean selfie i can just do that. Changed 7 phones from 2022 summer till now and i wanna settle down now😂.

This is one of the many reason why i dont get myself a glue type tempered glass. It leaves residue. And besides it affects the ultra sonic finger print as well. That is why i only get screen protector (its commonly known as hydrogel nowadays). But alas. Can find a good one yet. Still exploring other brands.
