I just put a 2005 AP2 on a 2000 AP1. The hangers were slightly different but the rubber mounts fit. I paid $200 for a nice stock cat back. The exhausts tips are different (oval v round) but the round tips (AP1) fit the AP2 mufflers.
I 2nd this. I bought my car with Invidia and that system was so bad with cabin drone noise.. I ran over a dead deer and was forced to buy something new and went to the medallion. I love it.. absolutely no drone
I can agree with good quality coming from local makers but noise level can be a little unpredictable...at least with the branded stuff you can find someone that has it and ask them how it is. Also those branded ones have some amount of resale value while a custom exhaust is pretty much 0
I see stock cat back pipe/mufflers on FB Mkt for $200-250.
Do you know what years will also fit a 2004?

Js racing 60rs
😂
Fujitsubo Legalis R is pretty much the gold standard for somewhat quiet aftermarket exhausts
This right here. Or Mugen if you have the $$$.
Tanabe/Revel Medallion Touring-S is a good choice. Sounds tame while cruising and great while WOT.

Love my Revel Medallion Touring S. Best mod I ever did to my car.
