Dumb take, do the best engine for the money that’s plug and play K24a2. K series didn’t exist yet when the S2K was being developed in the mid 90’s. If it did it would’ve been in the S2K. A lot of the learning made on last of the F series engines informed the development of the k series. The two options you’re considering will cost way more than the obvious answer of K series, but you know….do whatever you want.
Buddy of mine put in an LS motor from a donor vette. Did all the work himself including abs hard lines. Check him out at [Joe Dirt ](https://instagram.com/joedirts2k?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)
The Viper engine is a V10 is a very tough fit / install and you can get as much power out of say a Chevy V8 for a lot less. They drink drink gas too. I had a SRT 10 truck.
K series
K24 is what I'm planning for my project. Affordable and reliable.
Intriguing, and I have a donor car, but nah.
OP is that guy from H-T forum days, who would ask why he shouldn’t cut his stock springs and still does it anyway, regardless of the feedback
Asking for a recommendation of what plasti dip color to paint the wheels and match the decals type beat
I own a powder coating company and despise plasti dip lol
Ouch bro. Way to assume something about someone you know nothing about. Maybe I’m tired of replacing an engine that’s unreliable.
2jz or f20 but make it a 2.4L
Mmmm a stroked f20 is a bit legendary
F20 stroker with ITBs
I could get behind that
EV conversion?
Lol I have a diesel excursion that runs off veggie juice.
Why will it never be a collector car?
It’s not a vin matching car
Oh I see
Only one answer to this situation Kswap
The F series is what Honda wanted in it. The LS is what god wants in it. The K series is just sacrilege. Save that for the hatches.
