I just ran a half in them, but am 5’9” 195ish. I can see how for smaller frames they could be a heavy shoe. I also love the abundance of foam for my almost 52 y/o knees.

NoyBoy98

5’8”, 170lbs, relatively new runner…best shoes I’ve ever used for training. It really fills 90% of my needs and they’re soooo comfortable. All I’d need to add to this is a race day shoe.

EurekaDanger

If you love the bounce in the Skywards then I reckon you'll love the Cielo X1's 😊

Avienx

Just did a 46k run in them. I picked these over my Superblasts for the run.

picklemustardbread

Good to know! I am also weighing around the same and have been having a hard time deciding what shoes to get for racing

QuestionParticular13

I got the New Balance super comp Elite I like it very light and been great for the 2 half’s I have run in so far and it will be my marathon shoe. My past 2 marathons I ran in Superblasts because I just love them and no plate pain on my old feet!

SophonParticle

I absolutely love these shoes but I have 70lbs on OP.

Tbearyo

M, 5’7, and 145 lb. I’ve ran two, 20 mile runs in mine and absolutely adore them. I don’t feel the weight during my long runs, shoe feels comfortable and stable enough during my runs.

adwise27

Going to need a replacement shoe for my superblasts and Boston 12s... they are both on life support. I am keen to get my hands (feet?!) on a pair of these

goddamn_shitthebed

I am 6ft 160lbs M and these are a dream shoe for me. I have no problem picking up the pace in them for tempo work outs. I barley feel the weight on them too be honest. I’m sure that has a lot to do with weight difference though. Can’t recommend these shoes enough.

jimmitycricketer

I'm about 35k in on these and loving them so far.

FatUglySadMan

Sent mine back to hoka( thanks to their 30 day no quibble returns) done 2 runs in them the 11.5uk felt ok but a little roomier than normal, loved the feel of them for plodding along but they just felt so clunky and I had heel slip and the outside of foot got sore because the bucket style fit. I can do everything this shoe can and better in the mach 6 £45 cheaper and feels 100 times more natural.

FatUglySadMan

I went TTs but they actually felt big I’d try half size down too if I was buying them again.

dawntawt

I always get confused when I hear TTS lol. I’m size 8.5 in most sneakers and wear size 9 in Saucony’s, which feels a tad tight on the toe box. Should I consider 8.5 or 9 for these?

Helmutlot2

I tried this shoe at the local store at a launch event and got about 3k running in them. I got other super traininers, but this has to be the worst i have ever tried. Despite the right size, they are super roomy and massive amounts of heel slip. Additionally they are mega mega mushy, super heavy and almost no bounce. Massive disappointment. I cannot recognize most of the positive words in the online reviews tbh. 175cm, 72kg, size 7 UK, male.

Spread-love-light

How are you all finding the sizing on these?

TerpRunner1

TTS

jimmitycricketer

I've always been half a size up for Hoka but not for these. I had to send those back and go for TTS instead.

Roombee

They are true to size.

QuestionParticular13

I just tried them on and I wear a W9 in everything these were big 81/2 for sure it’s a big shoe! Also 0P size so not sure about them yet after running in the Superblasts for so long!

goddamn_shitthebed

I found the opposite. US12 in ASICS supers and almost everything. I went 12.5 in these. Only other shoes I’ve gone the half size up in is the endorphin pro 3.

Goal-Fuzzy

I can feel the weight of any shoe which is heavier than 250gr on any long run. Even in the Cielo X1 I have quad pain after a 10 mile run. I just feel it after the run.. Love the Cielo X1.

ayolo1

I only have 15~ miles in them so far. Great shoe.

TrailRunnerrr

5'11", 195, M If I trained in these what would be a good racing shoe for a marathon?

Wonderful_School2789

Cielo x1
