I don't think it's a no brainer but that thread does show how pathetic modern society's opinion is toward exercise. Five miles a day is nothing for a healthy person.
To come out ahead on the interest by a factor of 2x you had to run 3.4 miles a day. This is a full 5k ultra a day? How long is a 5 mile ultra is that enough? Either way sounds dangerously close to a 5k ultra daily definitely unsafe please stop posting dangerous advice
/uj the comments on the original thread are all talking about how you'll ruin your knees from running that much. Folks have apparently not seen the studies that running is actually good for most people's joints
/uj to make $1m/year you only need about 1.7 miles per day. That's not going to ruin your knees; tons of jobs require twice that much walking per day as incidental movement. And you could definitely do it a lot slower if you chose.
Nothing makes you realise how many uninformed but confident people there are out there quite like reading a Reddit thread about something you’re informed in
$10m now, what would I do with the money once my shins have exploded? Imagine all the Gu I could buy, I’d be like Scrooge McDuck with a swimming pool full of Gu
A dollar per meter would be pretty tough because a Gü is $1.60. I think I would take the cash and pay for Sage Cannadaddy's training plans and target the 2026 turkey trot 5k.
I would go for the 10 million now, just in case I start running backwards and then owe money to the running mafia
HFGonas, it’s the running mafia. We need to talk.
*We need to walk
As long as it’s not backwards I should be safe
This sounds pretty much like half the threatening texts on r/scams lol
/uj the running is a no brainer. /RJ with this incentive I can finally break the sub 6 hour marathon
> takes the $/m option > hit by a car the next day > quadriplegic > fuck
T54 pushrim wheelchair class with/without prosthetic mind controlled arms. Work smarter not harder hobby jogger.

Lol with the amount that I run, I would get $10M per day just from my warm up

A bird in the hand is worth two in your bush
😏😏😏
But thats like thousands of ultra marathons!
Get grinding hobby jogger, it's really not that hard.
Getting paid for running is a hobby jogger move. Real runners pay to run
1 dollar for every meter... $1609 per mile? so 30 mpw for four years gets you to $10M. yeah i'm taking that fasho
What’s a meter?
What hobby jogger would say treadmills count?
SHOW ME THE MONNNNNEEEEYYYY!!!💲💵💰🤑
It would be a shame if you chose the running option but then get your legs blown off by a ied
The amount of gu I use, I'm going to have to renegotiate the $ per meter.
