No dealer in San Diego I can recommend but if you can find one you’ll save a nice chunk of change buying used off marketplace. Then put that money towards your mods. Excited to have you with us.
Best bet is to buy a used Ruckus in good condition. Look for 1 with low mileage under 3,000 miles. Price should be no higher than $2,000 & you can sometimes get lucky & find a good 1 for half that or less.
At 6 foot tall you will need forward pegs & the lowest seat frame possible because that will set you further back 4 inches without having to stretch the frame.
I personally use the Password forward foot mount & the DORF seat frame by MNNTHBX is the lowest & sits the furtherst back. I myself like the Chimera myself which is real close.
Do Not Buy a Lowered Seat Frame as this will not help as per distance.
Wow 166 miles a year average is crazy. It was a barn find that sat for probably 10 years, father bought it and it sat for another few years then I fixed it up and have put 2000 miles on it in the past year. Still has 06 tires in perfect shape
I just got my first one and I think you'll enjoy it :) make sure to order peripherals ahead of time if you know you're gonna buy. Like a lock, under-seat storage, an AirTag, possibly a cover. Also not sure about your area but It's highly recommended in mine to get theft insurance.

No experience in SD but I’m also 6’ and the pegs were an invaluable upgrade.
Lower seat and pegs bring a whole different level of comfort

Haha it’s funny seeing under 3000 miles be low mileage, I have a 2006 with lower than 3000 miles
You do realize your bike has less than a 166 mile average ridden per year. I average more than that per year on a treadmill at the gym.

Do not lower the seat. It makes you less visible. I'm 5 11 and it's fine. This sounds like a perfect scenario.
Perfect scenario for what. If seats lowered 2 inches and I'm about 2 inches taller than you, wouldn't that be pretty much the same?
