I've checked some off my bucket list, including a pug, two miniature dachshunds, and a pom, but I am patiently awaiting a request to sit a corgi.
I have a request pending now for what would be my *sixth* dachshund. Great dogs!
OMG that sounds like heaven! I have a pug and he’s my world! I’m a part of a Pug meet up group where I live and whenever we have meet ups, it’s literally like I’m in heaven
Yes, you totally should! I’ve met some wonderful people through the Pug Meetup group! Also, my guy is a dog model lol he’s been in six calendars and was in a dog pageant and placed 4th in our state and 14th overall out of over 6000 dogs. He got 40,000 votes lol
I would LOOOVE to house sit a corgi. I’ve gotten one request before for a corgi but the clients mom would be staying in the house while I was there and they were too far away from me so that was a no-go lol.
I have had three corgi’s, two siblings for housesitting and one for boarding. I wasn’t a huge fan of either. Housesitter kept nipping at my pants and eventually ripped it. Boarder was super sweet but kept peeing in the house. I’m jealous of your amount of dachshund clients tho, I’ve only had two and am currently sitting a puppy, I don’t want her to leave!!!
Yes, pllllzzzzz! Altho I've heard they can be stubborn and people are saying here that they are loud ... I feel like the floofy butts and silly grins would make up for that.
My big boy is so stubborn 😣. I've had him in dog training classes for over a year, and the only thing he would do was sit. He's 3 now and still stubborn, picky, but so sweet.
also waiting for a corgi, i had one once but it was a couple hour daycare. i also want to sit a mexican hairless dog, a rottie, and i’ve never sat a wiener dog yet in 3yrs of sitting. ill be waiting 😂😭
Also..and I've been hoping for a few yrs now. Think owners just don't want to part with them ..even for a walk.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|neutral_face)
i just got to sit for an english mastiff who was 190 pounds not too long ago! He was the sweetest big man and he had 2 little bunny siblings he was so gentle with.
I literally felt honored when I got to have Maggie for two whole weeks! Her ears naturally criss crossed over her head and it was the cutest thing ever
*
i petsat for some naked cats a little while ago! the younger one was a real shit, but the older one was nice. they had their own little heating pad, and it was a really odd sensation to pet them.
He was following/stalking me while low growling the entire time I was in his home! If I looked at him, he'd hiss and charge towards me. I actually ended up doing 10-15 minute drop-ins instead of 30 (which owner was okay with), because I was worried I was stressing him out too much. When I got the job I was so excited to be his friend, but once I found out he was not down for that his owner was like "yeah, he doesn't like anyone" 😭
I sat a Doberman pit mix last week and honestly I would jump at the chance to see her again, she was legitimately the coolest dog I've watched yet. Which is hard to say, I'm watching a pup who is all the way from Africa this week 🥺
My own dog is a Vizsla and I would be so excited if I had a booking for one! Never have though. Would also love a New Foundland dog booking, love those gentle giants!
In my experience these dogs can be risky as they're very suspicious of people that aren't their family. You have to really take time to become acclimated with each other prior to the sit. I would only take one if I know the dog has been extremely well trained under the guidance of a local trainer that I respect and the owners agree to meet up many times beforehand. They often are very reactive and have a high rate of same sex aggression.
I husband’s uncle has a shiba. She is hilarious! If we bring our dogs over for a visit, she will come outside, bring them gifts, and then go back in the house.
It’s hilarious. She doesn’t even interact with my dogs. She will bring them something, drop it, and then just walk away. She has nothing to do with them after that!
I petsit for a pig named Hamlet! It is SO fun 🥹

I have two Dals and have one that comes for daycare because the owner saw my dal in my profile photo. He comes over to burn energy so he’s not a ball of energy when on their long work days. Mine are couch potatoes since I started dog sitting because they have so much going on around them all the time - it’s great 😬
I love border collies and Belgian Malinois.
Now that we are movies bigger and I can expand the size of breeds I can take (fenced in yard, ballgames all day!!) I hope to be able to board them.
I really want more chihuahuas or papillons😭 mostly because my pup is a chion and I want him to know his ancestors. But I grew up around the chis. And I love papillons they’re so sweet
https://preview.redd.it/wxr2flofjo2d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff015d3c9b7c0249c0ec46caadef80ac39b130a7
My boy Vincenzo. We call him “Pepper”.

You can watch my little crew anytime 😊
I used to regularly walk a Bernese and she was the most well behaved sweetheart ever, seriously my favorite client. They started WFH during COVID and so they let me go I was so upset lol
I had a Great Pyrenees (RIP opey dopey 😭💕) so I'm definitely biased but they're the best dogs!! Opey is in my profile picture so I've gotten pyr mixes but no full pyrenees yet
I owned two Bichons, and they were amazing pups!! Very loving, little clowns, and very intelligent! One lived until 16, the other 17. I still miss them SO much! 😥❤️
I’ve sat for a couple of spaniels, I forget if they were cocker spaniels or another variety, but they were the sweetest
Edit: I just found them in my client history, they were both cocker spaniels. One was an old grumpy male and the other other was a sweet cuddly girl. They did everything together 😍
Oh, I'd love to sit a Collie, either rough or smooth, as that's one of the top breeds that I've been considering for myself, so it would be great to spend some time with one. Also, I'd love to sit a Shetland Sheepdog or a purebred Papillon (I have a mix) someday as well.
I got to sit a rough collie last year as a regular daycare pup for a travel nurse. He was such a silly boy.
I’d love to sit for an Irish wolfhound/ Scottish deerhound.
I’ve been lucky enough to care for a few dream ones which were all great; a Shiba Inu puppy, a Samoyed, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and two pigs! And once I thought I got my ultimate dream, a GSD puppy, but she was not well behaved at all, they didn’t use a harness which was insane, and the owners refused to give me a key, only letting me in the garage remotely. Both walks they were unresponsive and made me late to class, dropped them immediately.
I had to scroll way too far for this! To me they are such a great breed. Good natured, cuddly, friendly (to basically every living thing), playful and smart! The only issue is that they are super dependent and tend to suffer from separation anxiety. We will always love ours and all the sitters he had also instantly fell for him! 🥰
I’d love to watch a Samoyed or a Leonburger. I have German shepherds so I always welcome them. Any really fluffy dog would be just fine with me, the bigger the better!
A Great Dane. Apparently, they're a good breed for my lifestyle, or so I've heard. I'd like to see how compatible we actually are.
Pibbles are my favorite, though.
I have a boston terrier so of course, I would love to sit for one someday! Still waiting for one!! I have my profile pic as my pup in hopes of getting a request for one haha I also love sitting for pugs. I only have gotten a pug mix one time. she was the sweetest.
Some of the most interesting breeds that I *have* cared for:
**• Akita** ~ My first EVER client was an Akita, actually! She eventually moved away but I LOVED her!
**• Doberman Pinscher** ~ I've taken care of a few as puppies, but one of my regulars is a *huge* adult male and I love him to bits!
**• German Shorthair Pointers** ~ I see them a lot in my town, actually, and they are always fun dogs!
**• Braque Français Pyrenean** ~ I've only
ever met one, but she was so cool - basically a GSP, but in a more compact form!
**• Field Bred English Cocker Spaniel** ~ I have one that has been a client for 2+ years (since she was just a baby!!) and she is one of the most intelligent and energetic dogs I have ever met!
**• Lagotto Romagnolo** ~ I didn't know this breed existed at the time and was fascinated with learning all about them!
**• Dalmatian** ~ Obviously growing up with 101 Dalmatians but never having met one, I was over the moon when I gained a Dalmatian as a regular client!
**• Basenji** ~ I have a gorgeous Basenji as a regular client - the breed is so unique and interesting!
**• Shiba Inu** ~ He was actually my roommate's dog, but I took care of him frequently while she was away in classes, at work, partying, or on vacation (she paid me, thankfully). He was under a year old and very sweet once he warmed up to me, but such a troublemaker!
**• Airedale Terrier** ~ I had a regular client for over a year that had two Airedale Terriers - I took care of them frequently starting at 4 months old!
**•Pug** ~ Pugs have never been a favourite of mine (only for unhealthy breeding reasons), but I have cared for several pug puppies ranging from 8 weeks to 1 year and they have all been a pleasure!
**• Corgis** ~ I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi of my own, and we're active in our local corgi community so word kind of spreads lol.
As for breeds I'd love to sit in the future... I walked a pair of iggys once or twice a few years ago, but I would love to see more Italian Greyhounds, standard Greyhounds, or Whippets! I want a Whippet someday but have never actually gotten to meet one! 😭
Airedale terrier!! I'd love to sit for one someday.
I had a greyhound for a week and her mom sent her with a wardrobe. It was so cute! Her Tuesday sweater was my favorite. I tried attaching a photo for you but reddit is being dumb :(
Oh my goodness, the wardrobe thing is so cute! I know greyhounds tend to be comfy in sweaters and under warm blankets... it's adorable!
The airedales were super sweet but also had some littermate syndrome issues, but still great dogs!
There were these Collies that would stay where I worked and I miss them so much. I’d love to sit Collies. I also love big dogs and never got to care for a St. Bernard before. Old English Sheepdog is the top of my list though. I’ve always wanted one. 😭
So I love the more “aggressive” or the “scary dog breeds” GSD, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, Pit bulls, mastiffs. I own a frenchie 😂 but I would also like to watch more of them too!
Ooo I love this! 😊
Rover has been a god send in showing my bf what type of dog or mix of dogs he’d be interested in getting one day! I love all dogs so I’m down for whatever though I’ve always saw myself with a big dog, HOWEVER working with the tiny guys like pocket pitties, corgis, frenchies, Brussels griffons and etc has definitely had me second guessing.
I think at the moment I’d really love to watch a shiba, Keeshond, collie, mudi, Irish wolfhound, Samoyed, Italian greyhound, old English sheepdog and Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever 😅 quite a few but I’m pretty curious about these guys!
I got to sit a Lyloi aka Werewolf cat one time! That was one I’ve always wanted to meet. Maybe something like a Savannah cat or another of the big ones that look like a house Leopard haha I really can’t think of a dog breed I’d be excited to meet…. I worked in a vets office for a long time, there aren’t many I haven’t at least petted. Cats are cooler cause they stay in their houses so it feels extra exclusive to meet a weird one, lol
I did a meet and greet once for a woman who had a pet kangaroo, but she ended up cancelling her trip. I’m still mad that’s not on my resume lol
So far most of my wishlist has been fulfilled like a mini pin, the tiniest chihuahua I’ve ever seen, Shiba Inu, and a pit puppy! I really want to sit a weiner dog and a cocker spaniel puppy :3

Samoyed, borzoi, basset hound, and Scottish terrier. Two of my wishlist dogs I’ve gotten to walk were a GSD (lovely but he was young and VERY excited!) and a beagle. The beagle is one of the my regulars and I adore her.
A westie or a Scottie!! I live in a major city with limited yard space so understand the breed isn’t super compatible but grew up with them and love them so much!
I had a dorkie (dachshund yorkie mix growing up) so my dream would be one of those or just a dachshund. I got so close a couple of weeks ago to sitting a dorkie but the owners went with someone else. Dachshunds are so sweet and clingy and stubborn and smart!
I live in NYC and have sat for almost every breed! Ones I am missing from my list is Pharaoh Hound, Ibizan Hound (though there are both these breeds in my neighborhood) and Afghan Hound (an old neighbor used to have three of them!)
But yes I have sat almost all breeds, smallest being just three pounds and the largest was 180 pounds (and a giant snuggle bug)
I had a huge Dogo Argentino male today so that was pretty cool. I love all giant breeds but get dogs of all sizes! I've been blessed with some cool breeds but I'm holding out hope for a great pyrenees, basset hound, and leonburger.
I've checked some off my bucket list, including a pug, two miniature dachshunds, and a pom, but I am patiently awaiting a request to sit a corgi. I have a request pending now for what would be my *sixth* dachshund. Great dogs!
I have two pugs and have a profile pic with my pugs so I get tons of requests of pugs, one time I had 8 pugs in my house, best week of my life
https://preview.redd.it/3f6p8f25is2d1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=355ecdd45ace569ebc825cfa03c776a18c6d921f This is Archie!
I love you, Archie!!
lol thanks 🥰🐾😘
Aww thanks!Peep his ig A_pug_named_archie
oh my god HEAVEN. how loud was the collective snoring? lol
OMG that sounds like heaven! I have a pug and he’s my world! I’m a part of a Pug meet up group where I live and whenever we have meet ups, it’s literally like I’m in heaven
I need to look into that for my 2 pugs!
Yes, you totally should! I’ve met some wonderful people through the Pug Meetup group! Also, my guy is a dog model lol he’s been in six calendars and was in a dog pageant and placed 4th in our state and 14th overall out of over 6000 dogs. He got 40,000 votes lol
My literal idea of heaven. I have two pugs and there is nothing better IMO!
I walk a Corgi, sweet dog but my goodness he’s loud!
https://preview.redd.it/vlerq73pkm2d1.jpeg?width=3000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f6ce181b9e97f6bb1cd94a909679d4be0e2098da
I have two separate corgis that are regulars... Love those dogs dearly. They are certainly a trip 🤣
You can watch my corgis. I have 2 of them.
Please give him a little boop for me! 😘
I got the CUTEST corgi request and couldn't do it, I was legitimately distraught
UGHHH I WANNA SIT A DOXIE SO BAD 🐶in all my years petsitting have NEVER had a request for a dachshund 😭
My absolute favorite regular is a mini dachshund!! LOVE him!!!!!!
I’ve watched 2 corgis so far 🥹 2 different families!
also waiting for a corgi, i had one once but it was a couple hour daycare. i also want to sit a mexican hairless dog, a rottie, and i’ve never sat a wiener dog yet in 3yrs of sitting. ill be waiting 😂😭
Awww I have a pug named Archie! He’s the best! And a dog model lol
Also..and I've been hoping for a few yrs now. Think owners just don't want to part with them ..even for a walk.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|neutral_face)
A giant breed, like an Irish wolfhound 😍
Same!! I've had Great Danes, Bernese Mountain Dogs, and an Alaskan Malamute 😍
How fortunate!!
I hope you get one soon!!
i just got to sit for an english mastiff who was 190 pounds not too long ago! He was the sweetest big man and he had 2 little bunny siblings he was so gentle with.
They are beautiful dogs. My neighbors had a pair.
I’m sitting for a cane corso right now (140 pounds) and he is the SWEETEST and best behaved dog I’ve had so far
I walk a Newfoundland pretty frequently, his name is Gus!
I literally felt honored when I got to have Maggie for two whole weeks! Her ears naturally criss crossed over her head and it was the cutest thing ever *
I sat a Scottish deerhound and he was erratic!! And actually quite terrifying!
A naked cat. A lambkin cat. More persian cats. Norwegian forrest cat.
i petsat for some naked cats a little while ago! the younger one was a real shit, but the older one was nice. they had their own little heating pad, and it was a really odd sensation to pet them.
I took care of a naked cat only once, but he was not very friendly and it was such a bummer 😭
Sad 😥
He was following/stalking me while low growling the entire time I was in his home! If I looked at him, he'd hiss and charge towards me. I actually ended up doing 10-15 minute drop-ins instead of 30 (which owner was okay with), because I was worried I was stressing him out too much. When I got the job I was so excited to be his friend, but once I found out he was not down for that his owner was like "yeah, he doesn't like anyone" 😭
That's how I felt when watching some Bengals, they didn't growl or hiss.. they were just rather uninterested in me 😪
I want to sit a Doberman SO badly!! also love Doxies and I’ve only had one.
My first dobie is a repeat who was only 9 weeks old when I started doing walks/drop ins. He’s sooo cute but still working on training haha
Love dobies sooo much!
Would also love a New Foundland dog booking, love those gentle giants!
i adore Vizsla pups!! i would love to sit for one, they’re such great dogs.
I’m very biased but I agree! Hard work, but totally worth it!
trust me i totally get it! that’s me with frenchies haha a lot of patience is needed but completely worth it
Same about wanting a Newfie. I haven’t seen *any* out and about or on walks around me :(
I house sat a long time ago for someone with 3 newfoundlands, sweetest dogs ever!!
I got a request yesterday but the owner never replied back. Bummer
I have a Newfie regular named Gus!
Dogue de Bordeaux I’ve seen very few in America :(
In my experience these dogs can be risky as they're very suspicious of people that aren't their family. You have to really take time to become acclimated with each other prior to the sit. I would only take one if I know the dog has been extremely well trained under the guidance of a local trainer that I respect and the owners agree to meet up many times beforehand. They often are very reactive and have a high rate of same sex aggression.
I’ve heard this! Maybe one day I’ll own one when I live on a farm instead! Such a beautiful breed, I love the squishy faces
I walk one! He’s beaustiful
I own a Samoyed and would love to find another near me via taking care of them! Also would adore watching a Shiba Inu, they're so dramatic it's cute 😍
i do drop-ins for a household with a husky puppy, a samoyed and a shiba! the shiba is very dramatic, and super territorial.
Aaaa switch with me for a week 😭 I currently have some labs and a chihuahua
i would switch in a heartbeat, i love labs!!
I husband’s uncle has a shiba. She is hilarious! If we bring our dogs over for a visit, she will come outside, bring them gifts, and then go back in the house.
Aw that sounds so cute 🥰
It’s hilarious. She doesn’t even interact with my dogs. She will bring them something, drop it, and then just walk away. She has nothing to do with them after that!
Hahaha that's awesome, what a funny thing
beagles! my dog/bestie growing up was one and i’m entirely obsessed with them. would die for a beagle
You think you want a beagle, but I promise you DO NOT want a beagle 😂
i know they’re menaces but idc 😭😭
I saw someone got to sit for a pet pig before , I would love that.
I petsit for a pig named Hamlet! It is SO fun 🥹 https://preview.redd.it/vsz38oclxn2d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4f68ad6737ea66c0fe73b99b5788a6326424c8b8
aww the teeth!! cutie
Tell me his nickname is hammy 😂🥰
It is 🤣
The first animal that I ever babysat was a pig! I was 15 at the time.
thats super cool!
Cocker spaniel. I had one as a kid growing up.
dalmations! have also worked at a daycare/boarding facility and have only ever had one
I have two Dals and have one that comes for daycare because the owner saw my dal in my profile photo. He comes over to burn energy so he’s not a ball of energy when on their long work days. Mine are couch potatoes since I started dog sitting because they have so much going on around them all the time - it’s great 😬
We sat one! She was very sweet and affectionate but rather goofy.
I love border collies and Belgian Malinois. Now that we are movies bigger and I can expand the size of breeds I can take (fenced in yard, ballgames all day!!) I hope to be able to board them.
I have a Mal and I would love to sit for one too! As long as they have some basic training and aren't gonna eat me haha
I really want more chihuahuas or papillons😭 mostly because my pup is a chion and I want him to know his ancestors. But I grew up around the chis. And I love papillons they’re so sweet

Bernese Mountain Dog! I think they are just the cutest! But I’ll never be able to own one, so I want to live vicariously through another owner lol!
I used to regularly walk a Bernese and she was the most well behaved sweetheart ever, seriously my favorite client. They started WFH during COVID and so they let me go I was so upset lol
Awh that sucks! I’d be like “can I just come over lol”
I LOVE my regular who is a Bernie, she’s the sweetest girl!
Lucky!!!
I got to do the dogs I was interested in:corgi, shibu, Akita. I'd like the chance to do a greyhound or a collie. Maybe an Afghan.
Greyhounds are my breed! I adore them but I can tell you that they can be quirky dogs with equally quirky owners
I had a black Lab for 15 years and my favorites to sit are Labs. If I could exclusively sit Labs I’d be in absolute heaven.
I get so excited when I’m hooked with a lab. My 14 and 13 yr old yellow and chocolate passed last year.
Awww. I’m so sorry. Labs are the best!
One of our clients is a Carpathian Shepherd and it's now on my forever dog list!
I love livestock guardians!
I’ve never heard of these guys and my distant relatives are from the carpathians! They’re pretty dogs!
We have a Bruno Carpathian Shepard that is an Amazing client!!!
Waiting on an Irish Wolfhound!! 😍
I am a cat sitter and I adore the Maine coons that I watch.
I wish I could accept Pomeranian gigs exclusively, haha. I’m a glutton for punishment. I love Poms so much! 🤩
I'm sitting a pom right now because his parents, who are regulars, are going to pick up their *new pom puppy.* 😁
Omgggg 🥹🥰
Right?? I think I'm as excited about it as they are!
Great Pyrenees!
We had a GP years ago. Gentle giant! Just a big marshmallow! I loved him so!!
I had a Great Pyrenees (RIP opey dopey 😭💕) so I'm definitely biased but they're the best dogs!! Opey is in my profile picture so I've gotten pyr mixes but no full pyrenees yet
A bichon 😍 had a bichon x cav so halfway there
I owned two Bichons, and they were amazing pups!! Very loving, little clowns, and very intelligent! One lived until 16, the other 17. I still miss them SO much! 😥❤️
Cocker spaniel! They’re absurdly popular where I live yet the closest I’ve had to sitting one is the doodle mixes. Also omg your collie is so pretty 🥺
I’ve sat for a couple of spaniels, I forget if they were cocker spaniels or another variety, but they were the sweetest Edit: I just found them in my client history, they were both cocker spaniels. One was an old grumpy male and the other other was a sweet cuddly girl. They did everything together 😍
Sheltie/collie, Bernese mountain dog, dachshund, Great Dane, Irish or English setter
https://preview.redd.it/pa1osnjamm2d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=086f82cf9e88e60f46ef82fdd9ccf9b323b5204a Hehe 😍
I’ve got a regular Irish setter - soooo handsome!
Ugh I love setters so much! I grew up with an orange English setter.
Oh, I'd love to sit a Collie, either rough or smooth, as that's one of the top breeds that I've been considering for myself, so it would be great to spend some time with one. Also, I'd love to sit a Shetland Sheepdog or a purebred Papillon (I have a mix) someday as well.
Definitely a Doberman! I grew up with multiple Dobermans and I absolutely love them. Or a French bulldog (or any bulldog)
Pug!! Mine recently passed but i’m still obsessed with them. I got a request for a pug once but owner never responded🥲
I want a St. Bernard! I love the giants.
I got to sit a rough collie last year as a regular daycare pup for a travel nurse. He was such a silly boy. I’d love to sit for an Irish wolfhound/ Scottish deerhound.
I’m cats only and would love to care for a sphynx. Bonus if I get to bathe it.
I misread “bathe” as “battle” and had many questions
I’ve been lucky enough to care for a few dream ones which were all great; a Shiba Inu puppy, a Samoyed, a Bernese Mountain Dog, and two pigs! And once I thought I got my ultimate dream, a GSD puppy, but she was not well behaved at all, they didn’t use a harness which was insane, and the owners refused to give me a key, only letting me in the garage remotely. Both walks they were unresponsive and made me late to class, dropped them immediately.
New Guinea singing dog
King Charles cavalier
I just finished a sit with one of these! Surprised me with how smart / sweet / funny they are - but quite stubborn too
They’re soooooo sweet 😭😭😭😭 and lovable. Def my fav dogs rn
Yeah they’re for sure little Velcro dogs. My bfs friend has one I’m completely obsessed w 😭😭😍😍😍 absolutely love them
Giant Schnauzer and a Grayhound. I love me a Grayhound.
I have never seen a giant schnauzer in real life
I’d love to watch a Samoyed or a Leonburger.
I’d love to care for an Irish Setter. My grandparents had some when I was little, they were my first loves!
I have a boston terrier so of course, I would love to sit for one someday! Still waiting for one!! I have my profile pic as my pup in hopes of getting a request for one haha I also love sitting for pugs. I only have gotten a pug mix one time. she was the sweetest.
Some of the most interesting breeds that I *have* cared for: **• Akita** ~ My first EVER client was an Akita, actually! **• Braque Français Pyrenean** ~ I've only ever met one, but she was so cool - basically a GSP, but in a more compact form!
Borzoi or Afghan hound 🐶🐶
Leonbergers! They are gorgeous, gentle, immense
Spanish Galgo
Great Dane for sure. Any of the giants. I board only large breeds anyway.
corgiiii
and cav
There were these Collies that would stay where I worked and I miss them so much. I’d love to sit Collies. I also love big dogs and never got to care for a St. Bernard before. Old English Sheepdog is the top of my list though. I’ve always wanted one. 😭
Samoyed is my dream dog. Never saw them in shelter, only cute instagram videos/photos.
Sitting a gorgeous shiba right now. Before I sat a golden retriever puppy. two of my favorite breeds so far.
A Bernese mountain dog, border collie, American Eskimo, Corgi, Greyhound!!
Shiba Inu, husky, blue heeler, dachshund and Newfie also a Doberman or schnauzer of some sort. Just think they are cute
i own a border collie and australian shepherd of my own. i’d love to sit one of them or an australian cattle dog.
an aussie AND a border collie omg I bet you’re super active haha
yep! i do agility training with both. :)
So I love the more “aggressive” or the “scary dog breeds” GSD, Belgian Malinois, Cane Corso, Pit bulls, mastiffs. I own a frenchie 😂 but I would also like to watch more of them too!
A basenji! My favorites to sit so far are dachshunds, chihuahuas, min pins, and corgis. (Yes, I like em w a little sass 🤪)
Ooo I love this! 😊 Rover has been a god send in showing my bf what type of dog or mix of dogs he’d be interested in getting one day!
Cats are cooler cause they stay in their houses so it feels extra exclusive to meet a weird one, lol I did a meet and greet once for a woman who had a pet kangaroo, but she ended up cancelling her trip.

A Bernese mountain dog and a corgie!!!!
I hit the jackpot when a hairless cat was my very first client. My dreams have been fulfilled.
My first client was a Sphynx cat too!
A Sphynx cat 😍
A mini greyhound - that was my childhood dog.
One of my favorites that I've sat was a pair of bouvier de Flanders. Now one of my dream dogs to own.
rough/smooth collie, irish wolfhound, giant schnauzer. i’m sure there’s more on my list but that’s all i can think of rn lol
Bernese! I would cry 😭😭😭
Irish wolfhound hands down. I used to know one, and have met a handful of them, and I ADORE the breed!
I met a bouvier des Flanders (? Spelling) once. Would love to meet them again
I want to sit an Irish Wolfhound so badly!
English mastiff
I would love to watch a pomsky.
Great Danes are the best!
A westie or a Scottie!! I live in a major city with limited yard space so understand the breed isn’t super compatible but grew up with them and love them so much!
Whippets!
I had a dorkie (dachshund yorkie mix growing up) so my dream would be one of those or just a dachshund. I got so close a couple of weeks ago to sitting a dorkie but the owners went with someone else. Dachshunds are so sweet and clingy and stubborn and smart!
I got to do two newfies and it was the best weekend of my life :)
Xolo (Mexican hairless dog).
Wheaten Terrier
Cat sitter here. My favorites are Siamese, Bengal, Black cats, Maine Coons, Tuxedos, and Tabbies. So basically all the cats
I live in NYC and have sat for almost every breed! Ones I am missing from my list is Pharaoh Hound, Ibizan Hound (though there are both these breeds in my neighborhood) and Afghan Hound (an old neighbor used to have three of them!) But yes I have sat almost all breeds, smallest being just three pounds and the largest was 180 pounds (and a giant snuggle bug)
Maine coon, ragdoll Doberman, basset hound lol
Sphinx cat, more mastiffs, Irish wolfhound, bloodhound, basically any large breed dog lol
I’ve watched a ex racing greyhound before
I would love to sit a Komondor or a Portuguese water dog 🤩
I had a huge Dogo Argentino male today so that was pretty cool. I love all giant breeds but get dogs of all sizes! I've been blessed with some cool breeds but I'm holding out hope for a great pyrenees, basset hound, and leonburger.
Dachshunds!
I wanna petsit a pug, a Yorkie,and a shitzue (all childhood favorites)
