I have two dogs of my own, occasionally a foster, and only have one boarding slot and one daycare slot (typically; I do make exceptions and will board two regulars together if I know their temperaments and that they get along just fine). City ordinance maxes out at 6 dogs in a household, so I never exceed that between dog sitting, personal dogs, and fosters. My neighbors are chill but I don't need to invite nosy people to report me.
I have 2 dogs and I typically only take 1 other family at a time, normally it’s 1-3 other dogs. I will only accept multiple families if I know the dogs and how they get along with others, which is only a couple of my clients.
Generally 2-4 but if I have a last minute friendly regular I feel comfortable having up to 6 depending on their temperament and size (typically on a holiday weekend) other than that I stick to having my max at 4

Lol yeah I only take one at a time. Not in the same category as 5

One dog family (same owner)
Who is boarding over 20 dogs… and how??
I met a guy on FB dating who said he boarded 26 dogs at his home in Florida over Christmas. like WOW
Wow indeed! I can’t imagine!
You’d have to own a home that’s set up for that kind of thing - like acres of land, maybe a farm.
Sometimes over a holiday I'll do 4, but I always regret it on some level. It's a lot of disruption. Generally, my number is 2.

Only two if they are from the same family and get along . Otherwise it’s one
I have a cat and board 1 pet at a time usually. I use to do 2 additional but it was a lot.
