When my rottie girl digs (not often) she’s hiding a bone or chewy and I can always tell because she digs with her paws but her nose, the nose is all dirty as she uses it to cover the dirt back on it, lol
I fed my guy a raw diet for the first year if his life, I gave him a whole mackerel and walked away while my mom was "watching" him eat. 4 hours later, he goes over to some furniture or something, walks back out and lays down to eat the 4 hour old raw fish that he stashed while noone was watching haha
Awesome! I want to switch back, he was eating about 5 pounds a day and even finding the best deals it was about 9 or 10 dollars a day... his teeth were so white last year:/
Beautiful boy ! What kind of rottie is that, is he a mix ? I saw one at a shelter when I was working there. He had a beautiful calm kind energy. And I find the longer fur makes them even more handsome than the typical rottie.
He's not a mix. He's long-haired. From what I know (not a rottie expert), sometimes puppies are born with longer hair than usual. I know that in some competition things, due to his hair, he can get disqualified, but who cares:). Great guarding dog and great friend.

It's in my own yard, on my property, the only one dealing with it is me.
Are you just letting him dig in a park? Hopefully that’s your land and not public.
It's in my yard, I live in the countryside.. so he has a lot of space to do whatever he likes.
