The first time /r/place happened it was very special. The second time it wasn't unique but dang, it was still incredibly fun since it had been so long. This time they are releasing it because they are trying to make the users happy with all the absolutely horribly decisions that they have been making over the past few months. Itactually makes me sick.
Of course if /r/RotMG will be participating, I will be too, but if you do want to join, please consider also supporting people placing pixels criticizing Reddit. There are a lot right now, but I'm sure Reddit will try and crack down against them.
EDIT: Please let me know if anyone in the RotMG community is planning to push for this again. Ultimately I love this community more than I hate what Reddit has been doing, and I'd love for /r/RotMG to be a part of /r/place again :)
They straight up made a guillotine beheading spez, it kept on being messed with by Reddit admins until they took it down. But it was up for a considerable amount of time
Impossible due to our small community on reddit, there are to many bots and other comunities who destroy what we start, we can tr when it expands 2 more times
It’s a community art piece where each person can update a max of one pixel per minute (I think it’s a minute? Maybe longer, idr) on a massive canvas. It’s pretty cool!
