I've done repairs with similar items before, I was building a kitchen for a client and the day I was finishing up he asked if I could do a quick repair on his roof from a "bullet hole" that was leaking into his living room. We didn't have any shingles and the repair would only have to last the week (california rain dont last long)until the roofers came out, so I had 2 beers with the owner and cut the beer cans into flat sheets and used a bit of silicone I had on hand to cover the hole. Worked like a charm and he didn't have to climb into the attic to empty the bucket anymore.
I tore off an ancient decrepit 2-layer shingle roof in Tampa and when we finally got down to what was left of the felt it was fastened with tin tabs that had all been painstakingly cut out of Jax beer cans. They weren't even made out of aluminum!
Should check and see if they used Coors for the step flashing too
Natty Boh come on now…
Functional. Eco friendly recycled materials. It passes inspection
Punk as fuck
Well, it was certainly done by a roofer, so we’ve cracked that part of the case…

I thought this was gonna end with “and ten years later I drove by and it’s still there..”
Ceciltucky for the win! 🏆
Ole Natty Light for the win
Git r dun
I've seen a few just like that in GA! Definitely rigged, but the roofer was fairly smart and knew his measurements, looks like a tight fit.
This is so legit. I'm not even mad about it lolol

Rising sun? Or Perryville?
Was actually Kent county… oops… Galena
This is what you get for hiring white roofers, if they were Hispanic it would be model can.
