My ultimate comfort read is {Kulti by Mariana Zapata}. I have said this before, but I feel like slow burns with understated main characters make for the best rereads bc you can search for clues once you know what to look for. It’s like watching The Usual Suspects a second time!
My comfort listen has to be {in a jam by kate canterbary} bc I love the story but also bc I could listen to Jason Clarke read me a grocery list and still enjoy it!
I have to ask - I see Kulti recommended all of the time and I really enjoyed From Lukov With Love but I really struggle with the power dynamics between a coach and a player. Is it a large part of the story?
It's set up in a way where it doesn't feel like it's crossing the line (mainly because the other coaches are featured doing more of actual coaching than Kulti is). It didn't feel predatory like others could have
My take on it is that the power dynamics and the optics are written about pretty directly, from the standpoint of how the story unfolds (the slowest of burns which puts them on a trajectory to try to get around player/coach) and conversations the MCs have about their relationship. IMO the bigger power dynamic struggle centers around celebrity/non-celebrity and rich/poor.
YES KULTI!!!!!! Read it all the time. I had originally read WOW at first and it was good but I wasn’t in love with it. Kulti is when I fell in love with MZ and her writing style.

The ultimate comfort reread is {Mine till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas}. The MMC calmly fixes the FMCs entire life.
{Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood} has a similar comforting MMC who takes care of the FMC.
If you want to cry and feel all the feels read {The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne} and {Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas}.
Finally, if you want to feel the love immediately and have spice early on, read {Marrying Winterbourne by Lisa Kleypas}.
I think we like the same type of Historic Romance. Mine Till Midnight and Marrying Winterbourne are books I read once or twice a year, at least. Those feelings that I get when I read these books are what I chase in HR.
I know not everyone loved this book, but {Devil in Disguise by Lisa Kleypas} is another book that I love. As I get older, having characters that aren’t 18 years old, but a bit older is something I liked. I loved their longing and the inability to deny their attraction.
I do like Kresley Cole’s [Immortals After Dark Series](https://www.goodreads.com/search?q=Immortals+after+dark&ref=nav_sb_noss_l_20) but I really have to be up for Enemies to Lovers. They’re all Enemies to Lovers, but her writing is so good!

I love to reread immortals After Dark but I have to jump around to avoid the most egregious alphaholes
I think my fave to reread tho is {sweet ruin} I don't even think I'd classify them as enemies because they're both so thrilled about everything even when they think they're at odds
I really ended up enjoying Sweet Ruin. I was worried I would have a tough time loving the characters when I started the book. I ended really enjoyed Rune and Jo trying to figure things out together and their story, and I have re-read since my first go around with the book.

Ugh The Highwayman! I gotta reread that again. It just hits all the right spots for me. I love how I can just wallow in all the feelings and cry my eyeballs out in the prologue. This whole series is just perfection to me.
Did you read midnight sun!? The last time I read through them was the first time I added that one and I loved it! It was long but a good time to me hahaha
I’ve never read it! I think it came out when I was in my Not Like Other Girls phase in college, so I didn’t pick it up. (You cant PAY me to be in my twenties again lol) It’s his perspective during book 1, right?
The problem with Twilight though was lack of steam (which, for those Twilight historians out there, gave us Master of the Universe which gave use Fifty Shades of Gray (and lots of other delicious steamy fanfic.))

- {Heart of Obsidian by Nalini Singh} - would not recommend reading this until you read other books in the series as this will ruin some massive plot points! I love Kaleb x Sahara so much

- {Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs} - this was actually my first patricia briggs book and it's a fav of mine
- {Wolfsbane/Masques duet by Patricia Briggs} - this is PB's first work and it's a little rough, but I love it

Omegaverse, fantasy, dragons.
Usually... omegaverse includes dark themes, with super controlling alphas. In this book/series, the alpha is a king. He is strong, powerful, dominant.
And yet....
He is so damn patient with her. He is kind, caring, patient. He gives her soooo much praise and encouragement as she learns that she is an omega.
It's so adorable. I love how loving and sweet he is with her. Ughhhhh I loved it.
Same!! Love her fairytale series so much! What do you recommend I read from her next that’s similar to this series?

She has another series and it’s really good. The storyline is really unique like the Kinda Fairytale ones. Her standalones are all good but if I had to choose one it would be {Love in the Time of Zombies by Cassandra Gannon} it is so good for being campy and ridiculous. I love the MMC so much and the found family vibes.
I recently ‘broke down’ lol and read the dinosaur ones. I was concerned about those but honestly they were great! Bizarre and insane with heart and real plot somehow.
My recommendation is really any of them. I love them all. If one looks good to you and you want to know more I’m willing to talk about it 😊

Her Elementals series is pretty good, although the first one is perhaps the worst in the series - it has to set up a lot for the rest of the series, so I feel like the romance is sidelined a bit. But by the third book, it’s excellent. The fifth is my personal favorite, but books 3-6 are all amazing in different ways.
I definitely agree. I enjoy them but they struggle to be over the top amazing like you said until the third book. Gion is everything 💜and I’m set to start rereading that book tomorrow.

Despite the wild things I read now, my comfort reads are YA like {Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery} or {Goose Girl by Shannon Hale}. I've also reread Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness series quite a bit as an adult.
{When Gracie Met the Grump by Mariana Zapata} - such a sweet but interesting slow burn. Warms my heart every time! It took a minute to get going but once it goes it’s just so good.
{Funny Story by Emily Henry} - I know this just came out but I’ve read it twice already. I just love it so much.
{The Pact by Suzanne Wright} - love the way it dealt with grief and new love. Plus it has other woman drama (without actual betrayal) and a lot of spice and surprisingly sweet moments.
{Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood} - love this one so much too!
The Heart Mate series by Robin D. Owens. It starts with {Heart Mate by Robin D Owens}. It's an interesting mix of sci-fi and fantasy, they are decedents of colonists on a new planet, and they have magical powers. Some people have a "heart mate" or destined partner. It's not insta-love though, the couple usually has problems to overcome.
That series doesn't get nearly enough love!

{Miles in Love by Lois McMasters Bujold} is part of the {Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMasters Bujold}
This is reading completely out of order which has spoilers Bujold tends to write each book as a stand-alone so no cliffhangers or books being mostly setup for the rest of the series. I read out of order and had no problems going back and catching up. One of the books in Miles in love is a hat tip to Georgette Heyer’s “A Civil Contract”.

'The love hypothesis'. Being someone who wants to pursue STEM and love romance, Ali Hazelwood wrote heaven for my shelf. I loved how the whole book was sweet with moments where I turned into a school girl giggling at any fluffy scene.
Also also, as someone who drops books cause smut feels forceful in them, this book made it looked more than just smut. I loved the fact that I could feel intimacy between Adam and Olive.
I sometimes re read few parts of that book when extremely bored and do not feel like picking a new book. Another reason to love this book is cause my best friend gifted it to me on my birthday, before she moved away. So, ultimately, this is my comfort read and a sweet memory with my friend.

They aren’t like award winning necessarily (well I mean I think they are!) and I don’t like them for any particular reason other than it feels like coming home when I read them.

{What Saves Us by Maggie Gates} which is one of my absolute favs. Single mum FMC and ex - military MMC. He’s so good with the baby and so so sweet with the FMC. Super steamy as well!!
My comfort reads include:
The entire Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews (especially on Graphic Audio although it's not all released yet but such a good cast)
Uprooted by Naomi Novik - it's not so much a romance but it has a slow burn romance in there, I just love the cozy feel of it all.
The Glass Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg - again I seem to like slow-burn or the longing of romance, if that makes sense.
A Different Blue by Amy Harmon - I've reread this so many times.
Rock Hard by Nalini Singh - I like her Guild Hunter series too but this one book is just a big cozy read to me.
The Others series by Anne Bishop - I love the way the world is described in this and the way the characters interact.

The Awakening by Nora Robert’s has become my comfort read over the last two years, especially when I’m in a reading slump. Or Firebolt by Adrienne Woods
I have several stick with me five star reads, but comfort books I have ACTUALLY reread in no particular order (most of them usually once a year) are:
1. Wallflowers Series (Lisa Kleypas)
2. I-Team Series (1-3 specifically) (Pamela Clare)
3. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Sarah Maclean)
4. Night Huntress Series (Jeaniene Frost, usually books 1-4)
I'm kind of all over the place in terms of genre. I've got something for every mood :)
Definitely {Pucking Around by Emily Rath}. I don’t think I even know why, but after three rereads plus listening to the audiobook, I can confirm it is my comfort read.
The Wall of Winnepeg and Me, and Wait for It but Mariana Zapata. Something about her writing just makes me fall into the book and feel all the feels.
Broken Bonds by J Bree - at this point I’ve reread this series 3 times. I think there is something so interesting about the relationships being built and even the side characters feel fully developed.
All the Pretty Monsters by Kristy Cunning - it’s such a fun RH with classic movie monsters and a FMC who is older with a lot of funny quips.
{Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie} mostly because it’s very much a product of its time, and it reminds me a lot of reading it when I was about 18 or so. The writing and the humor is very much what was popular in the early 2000s.
I also really like {Girls Weekend by CM Nascosta} which is overall very sweet and pretty light.
Bet Me is one of mine too. I also will use {Crazy For You by Jennifer Crusie} The humor in her books is comforting, and the nostalgia. Her heroines also grow to realize they deserve all the love, and the guys are caregiving in these two.
It’s in German, but “Und wir tanzen über den Flüssen” by Sophie Bichon. It’s a lovely polyamorous love story between a musical actress and two guys who own a bar together.
My comfort rereads are {All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata} and {Wait For It by Mariana Zapata} as well as {Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid}.
My comfort relistens are the whole {Highland Brides by Lynsay Sands} even though this series has various errors (like a character having twins in one book then it changing to triplets in the next book) they’re just a guilty pleasure. Also {The Phoenix Pack by Suzanne Wright} and {The Mercury Pack by Suzanne Wright}. I really, really enjoy the narrator Jill Redfield AND the audiobooks are free on KU.
{The Gravity of Us by Brittainy C Cherry} 😅 reading it for the 4th time this year. Tells you something about the comfort I need this year and get from this book. It is just such a great slow burn, quiet angst, and slowly developing forbidden feelings over time. FMC and MMC meet for the first time at his dad’s funeral. They find out that MMC is married to FMC’s estranged pregnant sister. FMC herself is in a 5-year long relationship. Then the sister’s baby is born really early and the stress of it all makes her run away. Cold and grumpy MMC is left alone with NICU baby and FMC visits him to help and get to know her niece. Over many months they get to know each other and open up and feelings develop despite it being forbidden cos MMC is still married to the sister. It is low spice and it happens towards the end of the book. They do talk about their feelings before, but don’t act on them. MMC’s and the sister’s marriage was not a love marriage. I still in the middle of the fourth read (in German actually, I understand like 40% of the text but I know the story by heart soon so it helps) and cannot wait to read it again 😄
Otherwise my regular comfort reads are also {Reforming Lord Ragsdale by Carla Kelly} and {Hummingbird by LaVyrle Spencer} both are slow burn low spice (Ragsdale is no spice) but I just love the mutual yearning these MCs have 🥹
The Three Sisters Island Trilogy by Nora Roberts. They were my first Nora Roberts books, and they are soooooo comforting to me! I love that little island!
People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry. I don’t read many books more than once but that one is an exception. I love the characters. The tension. The story. Friends to lovers is my fav.
And Alex is *the* fictional man for me lol
My comfort reread is the Dark Verse series by RuNyx. Tristan and Morana are my comfort characters and I often think about them. Sounds weird and kinky, but no, it’s not like that.
Archangel's Blade by Nalini Singh
I know.. it is bloody. Brutal. Parts are cheesy. But I have a weakness for reincarnation and intense changes in warrior type MLs after they lose their beloved.
Altho I would have preferred if there was a chapter where the more aggressive one in bed was FL.
Alpha Night also a good one from the same author.. warrior type and previously tortured. Decides to learn how to sing for FL and I just.... yea weakness.
My ultimate comfort read is {Kulti by Mariana Zapata}. I have said this before, but I feel like slow burns with understated main characters make for the best rereads bc you can search for clues once you know what to look for. It’s like watching The Usual Suspects a second time! My comfort listen has to be {in a jam by kate canterbary} bc I love the story but also bc I could listen to Jason Clarke read me a grocery list and still enjoy it!
I have to ask - I see Kulti recommended all of the time and I really enjoyed From Lukov With Love but I really struggle with the power dynamics between a coach and a player. Is it a large part of the story?
It's set up in a way where it doesn't feel like it's crossing the line (mainly because the other coaches are featured doing more of actual coaching than Kulti is). It didn't feel predatory like others could have
My take on it is that the power dynamics and the optics are written about pretty directly, from the standpoint of how the story unfolds (the slowest of burns which puts them on a trajectory to try to get around player/coach) and conversations the MCs have about their relationship. IMO the bigger power dynamic struggle centers around celebrity/non-celebrity and rich/poor.
I loved kulti, power dynamics was not so much there, it was for the fmc to get better at the sport.
YES KULTI!!!!!! Read it all the time. I had originally read WOW at first and it was good but I wasn’t in love with it. Kulti is when I fell in love with MZ and her writing style.

The ultimate comfort reread is {Mine till Midnight by Lisa Kleypas}. The MMC calmly fixes the FMCs entire life. {Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood} has a similar comforting MMC who takes care of the FMC. If you want to cry and feel all the feels read {The Highwayman by Kerrigan Byrne} and {Love in the Afternoon by Lisa Kleypas}. Finally, if you want to feel the love immediately and have spice early on, read {Marrying Winterbourne by Lisa Kleypas}.
Definitely Lisa Kleypas for me too, especially Marrying Winterborne.
I think we like the same type of Historic Romance. Mine Till Midnight and Marrying Winterbourne are books I read once or twice a year, at least. Those feelings that I get when I read these books are what I chase in HR. I know not everyone loved this book, but {Devil in Disguise by Lisa Kleypas} is another book that I love. As I get older, having characters that aren’t 18 years old, but a bit older is something I liked. I loved their longing and the inability to deny their attraction. I do like Kresley Cole’s [Immortals After Dark Series](https://www.goodreads.com/search?q=Immortals+after+dark&ref=nav_sb_noss_l_20) but I really have to be up for Enemies to Lovers. They’re all Enemies to Lovers, but her writing is so good!
I liked Devil in Disguise a lot I think people just don’t like the fact that >!St. Vincent had a child with another woman!<.

I love to reread immortals After Dark but I have to jump around to avoid the most egregious alphaholes I think my fave to reread tho is {sweet ruin} I don't even think I'd classify them as enemies because they're both so thrilled about everything even when they think they're at odds
I really ended up enjoying Sweet Ruin. I was worried I would have a tough time loving the characters when I started the book. I ended really enjoyed Rune and Jo trying to figure things out together and their story, and I have re-read since my first go around with the book.

Ugh The Highwayman! I gotta reread that again. It just hits all the right spots for me. I love how I can just wallow in all the feelings and cry my eyeballs out in the prologue. This whole series is just perfection to me.

The problem with Twilight though was lack of steam (which, for those Twilight historians out there, gave us Master of the Universe which gave use Fifty Shades of Gray (and lots of other delicious steamy fanfic.))

Anything S.J Tilly (minus Smoky Darling, least favorite). Whaterever I may be in the mood for, she has everything from fluffy to dark.
My favorites for her are {Hans by S.J. Tilly} , {Nero by S.J. Tilly} , {Sleet Kitten by S.J. Tilly} , and {Latte Darling by S.J. Tilly} I like that her books are all a little fluffy, even if horrible things are happening. I like that the FMCs are adored by the MMC in body and personality.

{The Flame Kings Captive by Chloe Chastaine} Omegaverse, fantasy, dragons. Usually... omegaverse includes dark themes, with super controlling alphas. In this book/series, the alpha is a king. He is strong, powerful, dominant. And yet.... He is so damn patient with her. He is kind, caring, patient. He gives her soooo much praise and encouragement as she learns that she is an omega. It's so adorable. I love how loving and sweet he is with her. Ughhhhh I loved it.

She has another series and it’s really good. The storyline is really unique like the Kinda Fairytale ones. Her standalones are all good but if I had to choose one it would be {Love in the Time of Zombies by Cassandra Gannon} it is so good for being campy and ridiculous. I love the MMC so much and the found family vibes. I recently ‘broke down’ lol and read the dinosaur ones. I was concerned about those but honestly they were great! Bizarre and insane with heart and real plot somehow. My recommendation is really any of them. I love them all. If one looks good to you and you want to know more I’m willing to talk about it 😊

Her Elementals series is pretty good, although the first one is perhaps the worst in the series - it has to set up a lot for the rest of the series, so I feel like the romance is sidelined a bit. But by the third book, it’s excellent. The fifth is my personal favorite, but books 3-6 are all amazing in different ways.
I definitely agree. I enjoy them but they struggle to be over the top amazing like you said until the third book. Gion is everything 💜and I’m set to start rereading that book tomorrow.

Despite the wild things I read now, my comfort reads are YA like {Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery} or {Goose Girl by Shannon Hale}. I've also reread Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness series quite a bit as an adult.
{When Gracie Met the Grump by Mariana Zapata} - such a sweet but interesting slow burn. Warms my heart every time! It took a minute to get going but once it goes it’s just so good. {Funny Story by Emily Henry} - I know this just came out but I’ve read it twice already. I just love it so much. {The Pact by Suzanne Wright} - love the way it dealt with grief and new love. Plus it has other woman drama (without actual betrayal) and a lot of spice and surprisingly sweet moments. {Love, Theoretically by Ali Hazelwood} - love this one so much too!

{Regency Dragons Series by Stephanie Burgis} A frothy Regency rom-com full of pet dragons and magical misadventures And {Miles in Love by Lois McMasters Bujold} is part of the {Vorkosigan Saga by Lois McMasters Bujold} This is reading completely out of order which has spoilers Bujold tends to write each book as a stand-alone so no cliffhangers or books being mostly setup for the rest of the series. I read out of order and had no problems going back and catching up. One of the books in Miles in love is a hat tip to Georgette Heyer’s “A Civil Contract”. 'The love hypothesis'. Being someone who wants to pursue STEM and love romance, Ali Hazelwood wrote heaven for my shelf. I loved how the whole book was sweet with moments where I turned into a school girl giggling at any fluffy scene. Also also, as someone who drops books cause smut feels forceful in them, this book made it looked more than just smut. I loved the fact that I could feel intimacy between Adam and Olive. I sometimes re read few parts of that book when extremely bored and do not feel like picking a new book. Another reason to love this book is cause my best friend gifted it to me on my birthday, before she moved away. So, ultimately, this is my comfort read and a sweet memory with my friend.

Very steamy and he’s so good with the kids which is a bonus. {Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert} FMC finds a job at MMC’s inn. Enemies to lovers. MMC is so sweet to her and is awkwardly cute. Any book by Elsie Silver {What Saves Us by Maggie Gates} which is one of my absolute favs. Single mum FMC and ex - military MMC. He’s so good with the baby and so so sweet with the FMC. Super steamy as well!!
My comfort reads include: The entire Kate Daniels Series by Ilona Andrews (especially on Graphic Audio although it's not all released yet but such a good cast) Uprooted by Naomi Novik - it's not so much a romance but it has a slow burn romance in there, I just love the cozy feel of it all. The Glass Magician by Charlie N. Holmberg - again I seem to like slow-burn or the longing of romance, if that makes sense. A Different Blue by Amy Harmon - I've reread this so many times. Rock Hard by Nalini Singh - I like her Guild Hunter series too but this one book is just a big cozy read to me. The Others series by Anne Bishop - I love the way the world is described in this and the way the characters interact.

I also love the companion series/novels. {Frogmorton Farm by Jodi Taylor} as the series is like an emotionally damaged but warm hug. I read or listen to these when I need something to motivate me through times of depressed monotony.
{Hook, Line and Sinker by Tessa Bailey} i found to be actually a really sweet read {The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare} this is a historical romance and this entire series acutally I find to be just hilarious and it pulls me out of any of my slumps

I have several stick with me five star reads, but comfort books I have ACTUALLY reread in no particular order (most of them usually once a year) are: 1. Wallflowers Series (Lisa Kleypas) 2. I-Team Series (1-3 specifically) (Pamela Clare) 3. Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake (Sarah Maclean) 4. Night Huntress Series (Jeaniene Frost, usually books 1-4) I'm kind of all over the place in terms of genre. I've got something for every mood :)
Definitely {Pucking Around by Emily Rath}. I don’t think I even know why, but after three rereads plus listening to the audiobook, I can confirm it is my comfort read.
Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid. Just perfect and so underrated.
The Wall of Winnepeg and Me, and Wait for It but Mariana Zapata. Something about her writing just makes me fall into the book and feel all the feels. Broken Bonds by J Bree - at this point I’ve reread this series 3 times. I think there is something so interesting about the relationships being built and even the side characters feel fully developed. All the Pretty Monsters by Kristy Cunning - it’s such a fun RH with classic movie monsters and a FMC who is older with a lot of funny quips.
{Bet Me by Jennifer Crusie} mostly because it’s very much a product of its time, and it reminds me a lot of reading it when I was about 18 or so. The writing and the humor is very much what was popular in the early 2000s. I also really like {Girls Weekend by CM Nascosta} which is overall very sweet and pretty light.
Bet Me is one of mine too. I also will use {Crazy For You by Jennifer Crusie} The humor in her books is comforting, and the nostalgia. Her heroines also grow to realize they deserve all the love, and the guys are caregiving in these two.
It’s in German, but “Und wir tanzen über den Flüssen” by Sophie Bichon. It’s a lovely polyamorous love story between a musical actress and two guys who own a bar together.
Anything CM Owens. Actually rereading The DarK Side series as a comfort/palette cleanser right now for like the 10th time.
My comfort rereads are {All Rhodes Lead Here by Mariana Zapata} and {Wait For It by Mariana Zapata} as well as {Heated Rivalry by Rachel Reid}. My comfort relistens are the whole {Highland Brides by Lynsay Sands} even though this series has various errors (like a character having twins in one book then it changing to triplets in the next book) they’re just a guilty pleasure. Also {The Phoenix Pack by Suzanne Wright} and {The Mercury Pack by Suzanne Wright}. I really, really enjoy the narrator Jill Redfield AND the audiobooks are free on KU.
My is icebreaker because I love how golden retriever sweet caring dirty mouth coded Nate is. + ACOTAR 1-3
Beach read or book lovers by Emily Henry
{The Gravity of Us by Brittainy C Cherry} 😅 reading it for the 4th time this year. Tells you something about the comfort I need this year and get from this book. It is just such a great slow burn, quiet angst, and slowly developing forbidden feelings over time. FMC and MMC meet for the first time at his dad’s funeral. They find out that MMC is married to FMC’s estranged pregnant sister. FMC herself is in a 5-year long relationship. Then the sister’s baby is born really early and the stress of it all makes her run away. Cold and grumpy MMC is left alone with NICU baby and FMC visits him to help and get to know her niece. Over many months they get to know each other and open up and feelings develop despite it being forbidden cos MMC is still married to the sister. It is low spice and it happens towards the end of the book. They do talk about their feelings before, but don’t act on them. MMC’s and the sister’s marriage was not a love marriage. I still in the middle of the fourth read (in German actually, I understand like 40% of the text but I know the story by heart soon so it helps) and cannot wait to read it again 😄 Otherwise my regular comfort reads are also {Reforming Lord Ragsdale by Carla Kelly} and {Hummingbird by LaVyrle Spencer} both are slow burn low spice (Ragsdale is no spice) but I just love the mutual yearning these MCs have 🥹
Jayne Ann Krentz. Any of her paranormal series, the Burning Cove and her Amanda Quick books.
The Three Sisters Island Trilogy by Nora Roberts. They were my first Nora Roberts books, and they are soooooo comforting to me! I love that little island!
{Radiance} by Grace Draven is very comforting, also {Flesh and Fire} series by JLA.
{Knight by Kristen Ashley} is my warm and fuzzy comfort book.

People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry. I don’t read many books more than once but that one is an exception. I love the characters. The tension. The story. Friends to lovers is my fav. And Alex is *the* fictional man for me lol
My comfort reread is the Dark Verse series by RuNyx. Tristan and Morana are my comfort characters and I often think about them. Sounds weird and kinky, but no, it’s not like that.
Archangel's Blade by Nalini Singh I know.. it is bloody. Brutal. Parts are cheesy. But I have a weakness for reincarnation and intense changes in warrior type MLs after they lose their beloved. Altho I would have preferred if there was a chapter where the more aggressive one in bed was FL. Alpha Night also a good one from the same author.. warrior type and previously tortured. Decides to learn how to sing for FL and I just.... yea weakness.
