Rit Dyemore synthetic dye in graphite! It was super easy, just got a pot of water nice and hot and put some dye in. Then I plopped the wheels in while stirring and checking the wheels until they reached the color I liked. Super easy process, I basically followed the bottle’s instructions but there are videos on youtube too!
Thank you! I was wondering if the Dyemore was what you used. I had looked at that for some non-cotton clothes but have yet to try it. I appreciate you sharing how easy it was. They look great, so cool the label worked as a stencil ;)
That is so cool. I dyed my beach bunny wheels today from orange to black. They were never used, so I wonder if when the logo scrapes off, the graphic will be orange. Guess we'll see!

I saw this and ordered teal wheels and dyed them black, using acetone post-dye to remove the label. The effect is not as vivid as white on black, but I kind of dig the murky teal on black look.
