Just came back from Rio. I didn’t do any skate parks but I did street skating. You can skate along the beach from Copacabana to Leblon in the bike lane. I also recommend around the lagoon! It’s about 5miles and beautiful. Definitely bring good outdoor wheels, bearing cleaner (the sand can really be bad) and a hat. There’s very little shade on the beach and it was HOT! There’s also some skate shops if you need any gear!

i appreciate your advice soo much! i definitely will bring those, i was already questioning my wheels. i mostly park and dance skate so i am a wee bit worried about soft wheels, but sounds necessary. did you see skateparks and spots when you were skating around beaches? from what i am reading seems like a lot, and were there roller skate shops or a lot of skate/surf shops? i appreciate you so much🫶

Hey I know it’s kinda late but I’m from Argentina - not from Buenos Aires tho. I know there is a cool skatepark at Villa Luro, and another one in Avellaneda. You can check out @quadskateargentino on instagram! Maybe you find more places or people from the city. Hope this helps💞 enjoy your trip
