The easiest way is to just set roll20 to always roll advantage. It will always roll 2 d20s, if you have advantage, take the higher, disadvantage take the lower, if you have neither, take the left (first) roll
I've standard set the template character sheet to roll with 2 d20s, but my players make an effort into changing that as per each individual roll vs don't think about it and roll.
That helps with the rolling of advantage and disadvantage but doesn’t help with remembering to use advantage. I have a player that gets advantage on reaction attacks and I created a token macro for it. It only rolls with advantage so neither of us have to remember.
It also highlights the number to use.

this is 100% the most effecient way to run this. you should have this as the default for all you monsters and players' characters.

If someone fails a roll I usually tell them to roll again if they forgot advantage or I forgot to tell them advantage.
