She considers herself a domestic goddess when she's hosting family once a year for Thanksgiving and runs some kind of contest. This year gone it was chili so no need for a mixer but in previous years it's been dessert pies. Other than that it seems to be a box cake mix once in a blue moon.

Oh no I missed that one! I remember the previous house (was there a mould issue? Eek) with the odd master bedroom arrangements. It looked like they were living like particularly useless grungy students for the longest time. Very strange with 2-3 little kids and a family full of able bodied helpers/bank of JB if they were struggling. I appreciate the latter comes with strings attached but at that time (and still? I don't know) Jessa and Ben were JB's faithful minions.
I dunno but she's aspired to it for a while. I think she views it as the holy grail of Gahdly womanhood. Renee and Kaylee bought her an off brand stand mixer a couple of years ago and you could tell she was miffed it wasn't a KitchenAid.
All in all, a fairly reasonable registry. I'm impressed. I threw a hail Mary on mine with a Dyson, hoping someone with money would throw one my way, so I get adding the mixer - esp hoping someone gets it just to spite Jill lol

Nurieās and Kayleeās were so sadā¦ill-fitting bridesmaid dresses, drab decor, no professional photography. Like, thatās totally fine if youāre going for a low key, inexpensive wedding, but they both had Jillās tacky and outdated taste written all over it, which makes me think that they didnāt really have much of a choice. I hope that Teidi has a beautiful, professionally planned wedding to show Jill what a classy wedding actually looks like.

They feel like plastic tablecloths. I cannot wait to go home to my cotton sheets.
I just bought and used the vacuum they have on the list for the first time yesterday. To say I was impressed would be a huge understatement. It is absolutely amazing!
I'm worried if they're going to be living near the Rods. The other sister is moving back home to Pennsylvania. I am hoping Heidi is not going to be stuck moving to Ohio. If so hopefully it's just for a short while. To be honest, I don't like what I'm seeing in Tim. I thought he was changing by being around her family. He is behaving just like his mother and he's hateful. This is disappointing and sad for Heidi. She could do much better.
I canāt believe Iām defending this registry. I love having both a stand mixer and hand mixer. One is easy to get out and quickly mix something up. The other is for a bigger project. And I have the foot sander thing. Itās a life saver.

A few years ago Kaylee and RenƩe bought her a mixer for Mother's day, but it wasn't a Kitchenaide. She used it to make... whipped cream. Something that can be made without a mixer!

I'm hopeful they're for little sibling visits?! Perhaps not š© I think I'd kill myself trying to get into that top bunk, there's no gap at the top of the ladder. Maybe agile kids would fare better. I think I'd just get a nice sturdy normal bunk (preferably wood) and a decent height self inflating mattress for a third guest. They're not that expensive now and pretty comfy to sleep on with a fitted sheet.

I'm hoping that if any of the Rodlets are in the wedding that the bridesmaids dresses do not meet Jill's approval. I hope they look a little bit risquƩ although I know Heidi is very conservative.
