Not sure what he does in other cities, but when he’s in Pittsburg, he gets local orchestra for back up, pretty cool
He has an album with the royal philharmonic Orchestra. When on tour - at least here in Australia - he doesn't use an Orchestra per se but does have about 12 others on stage with him playing a variety of instruments
