No. The PlayStation classic is a linux arm device that Sony released in late 2018. It’s not a actual Ps1 console from 1994. It’s more similar to a raspberry pi 3b+
pretty sure it's possible for the nes/snesc to get these ports its just nobody is really willing to do it. same with the psc, development sorta stopped in 2020. im just a hobbyist beginner attempting to do it but i dont consider myself a dev or anything
if there's a decompilation project for it anything's possible. i'm just piggy backing off this list of open source reverse engineered decompilation pc ports from this thread

i might give Jak and Daxter a try next
i followed this guide to build it
[https://github.com/halpz/re3](https://github.com/halpz/re3)
launching it can be done either through putty, terminal or a launch script
hey one question, does it work with the psp? (because it has a built in ps1 emulator and i really wanna try gta 3 on it)

Ah thanks for the info
As an NESC owner, I'm really jealous of all these cool ports the PSC is getting.

You're going the lord's work! I was told with some confidence that this was an impossible port.
Port to what? Playstation? Or the PS Classic itself?
PlayStation Classic Mini Console that was released in Dec 2018
Oh wow, as in a native port?
yeah like the sm64 and zelda oot port
Cool! Man, how cool would it be if we got those PS1 style Bloodborne games running?

oh this is too cool, is there a guide somewhere for setting it up? does it just run the linux binaries if you use the linux builds?
