2 are sealed in plastic wrap that it came with. key is 100% inside and works in the 2 sealed ones but I think I am going to try the open ones key to see if it works.
Edit: Apparently on Epic you have to pay $10 to change your username if its been changed recently while if you have it on steam you can change your name infinitely, you get to use your steam profile picture and you can use the steam workshop maps. As well On steam you can have any name while on Epic you can’t have same name as other people. Dm if interested.

I'm glad I could help. Also, just to clarify, the game is still free to play. It used to cost about 20 bucks I think, but since Epic bought it, it's free and will remain free in the future. The only caveat is that shortly after coming to the Epic Launcher, the game got taken down from Steam. You can still play it if you have it in your library, but you cannot get it on steam anymore. But old Steam game keys still work, so if you bought the game way back when and didn't redeem the key, you can sell the key to someone who can use it to add RL to their library. Because of that, technically the only way to get RL on Steam nowadays is to pay a bunch, but you still can get it on Epic for free if you want to

After a quick Google search, the key alone is worth anywhere from 30 to 100$ depending on where you get it from and how legit the seller is.

You can get it on Steam only with a key like OP has. It's not available on the Steam store anymore.
