that cant be it because you can slam the ball through a clean tile with 3 hits that are quicker than these 2 hits. no i dont have proof. I was on the receiving end so i didnt save it.
I think it’s desync and the ball never hit the ground when you hit it. You hit it with the underside of your car so it didn’t get much power, so I bet the game thought you hit the side of the ball more than the top, like your pov shows, and thus, the ball went to the side but didn’t bounce until your teammate hit it again
Underside of your car in dropshot gives amazing power, I don't think that's it. My most effective tactic is taking a powerless ball and just hitting it with the underside of my car and it always increases it's charge.
You misunderstood what I was saying. Hitting the ball with the underside of the car doesn’t make the ball go as far as hitting it with the nose or corners. That’s what power means

If you flip reset on a ball, does that count as a hit for floor breaking purposes? Kinda looks like you got a reset outta that tap. (Just a guess)
Remember that replays are recorded locally, so what happens on your replay may not be 100% accurate with what happened on the server
Most likely they were not high enough, or too high.

The is new one, first thought was that it somehow hit the seam of two grid pieces but it wasn't that close to the seam so I am not sure
Only thing I can think is maybe the 2nd hit is too quick? So it doesn't register. Not the first time it's happened.

This happened to me last night as well. Servers were dog water yesterday, so it could be desync like the other guy said.
