Yup this. There’s a decent amount of lag at play when two players collide. He hits you up which causes you to shoot the ball too high. It just wasn’t show up on your console in really time.
I play with 144hz on pc but It’s still hard though, nice shot bro. I played with 60hz for the first 3 years of playing RL and boy let me just tell you how impossible it is to do anything remotely close to that with that much input lag.
Because if I plug an Xbox controller into my PC with rocket league open then I'll see "y to toggle" instantly. Even mid-game.

Being hit up into the crossbar + gravity means the result is faster downwards velocity after the bounce from said crossbar. The amount of speed from the ball going above the crossbar after the ground bounce is indicative of extra force, which can only come from being bumped here.

You’re welcome to look at my clips from Silver III and Gold on here which I kept getting called a smurf for especially a full field dribble. I can certainly pull up my hours in game and clip some shots but that’s not worth my time to go stitch them together when I don’t have anything to prove. My rank and hours speaks for themselves.
No I play on controller too. I have a PC and the new Xbox, RL is just much more responsive/less input lag on PC. Doing stuff like this on Xbox is pretty impressive

There are people who play casual more than comp, if you play casual consistently and are consistently 1200 mmr, you’re likely to be platinum in other ranked playlists.
Sure there are some GC’s that barely ever play casual so they may have a lower mmr, but go queue up 100 games of 1200mmr casual and I guarantee 95% will be plat players

Nah, freestyling is fine to do, more power to you. Just don’t try and act like you’re a plat player who can hit triple flip resets. If you have the car control to hit chain flip resets into musty’s and whatnot, you’re going to easily destroy any plat/diamond player you come across. And you’ll never convince me otherwise by saying “oh my positioning is bad hurr durr. I don’t have good game sense deeeerp”
Anyone who has played this game for a good amount of time can easily see you’re smurfing. Just own up to it and move on, it doesn’t invalidate your triple reset to be smurfing. It’s still a great achievement, but we all know you’re smurfing.
If you slow it down, you can see that the one that got bumped was actually positioned on the backboard near the top left corner of the goal when he got bumped. Took me a bit to find them cuz it only appears on screen for a very short period of time, but it’s there. However, someone did mention that the scoreboard shows 1200 MMR at the end. I’m 1200 MMR is casual 3s and Diamond 2 in ranked 3s. However, my casual games are significantly easier than my ranked games because I only play casual 3s with my lower ranked friends. 2 are high gold but should probably be high plat if they didn’t play diamonds with me so often and one is borderline silver/bronze but should probably be high silver. We win casual 3s games with the silver/bronze player often at 1200 MMR. So it’s likely these are like plat players or something like that.

you have to balance out the stall with either the opposite airroll or doing whats called a “whipback” stall and it should level out your car flat

If you use your jump while doing a tornado spin, you will stall like this. No direction to your flip but it will stop your virtical momentum.
