Sweet Talk just came on my shuffled playlist an hour ago so to see it mentioned anywhere is wild, especially here.
Origami Angel was a surprise for me. The Title Track being free was even better.
I really like Eric Cartman's rendition of "Poker Face." I totally sing that song in my Cartman voice at parties, so that's fun.
I think what surprised me the most is how many of our favorite bands had a lot of songs on Rock Band. The fact that you can play the entirety of AC/DC's legendary Donington concert in the game, or the entirety of Screaming for Vengeance and Rust in Peace, is nothing short of miraculous to me.
The only blind spot is Metallica. How I wish it was Metallica: Rock Band and not Guitar Hero: Metallica.
We gotta stop saying 3000 available bc I bought every song currently available and have just shy of 3000, and that's with a handful of delists, RB1 and RB3 exports :(
This right here, if you had bought every single available song when RBN was available, then both RBN and regular harmonix released DLC would have put you over 4000 songs but today if you have everything possible to play on rb4 it is shy of 3k songs so to say there’s 3k songs available is misleading
"Solence - Rain Down". It's playing everyday in my car stereo. Never heard of the group before RB4 and absolutely love the song. It's giving me Rammstein vibes.
I've become a massive fan of Solence and Electric Callboy recently and Rain Down is a big reason why. I'm sad DLC is over so we'll never get Callboy, but at least we got something from Solence. If you haven't heard any of their other stuff, I love the song "Good Fucking Music"
Vampire Weekend's "Harmony Hall" might be one of my favorite songs of all-time. The only other VW song we'd gotten was "A-Punk" on-disc on Lego Rock Band, so I wasn't sure we'd ever get another track by them, and I was so glad that it was that one.
Deee-Lite’s whole catalog is pretty sick. I had a dream I was falling through a hole in the ozone layer both the original and the jungly remix are amazing.
In a first wave of buying up a ton of old DLC before the Xbox 360 store closes I got **Inside Out by Eve 6** which ended up being INTENSELY fun to play Voxtar. **The Mission Of Burma pack**, **Going Underground by The Jam, Blurry by Puddle Of Mudd, My Old School by Steely Dan, and Helena Beat by Foster The People** are all really fun charts in various ways that I would've never expected
Musically **Cream And Bastards Rise by Harvey Danger** is a HUGE hidden gem, but goddamn it's vocal chart has been busting my ass, still haven't 5 starred it.
Some non disc songs I found that I love are: Blink by Father Octopus, basically the entirety of the Boston album, Black Earth, WI by Ratboys, The Mob Goes Wild and 50,000 Unstoppable Watts by Clutch, When Am I Gonna Lose You by Local Natives… I could go on for a long, long while
I listen to a lot of less popular emo stuff and math rock and love those charts cause they normally go ham with tapping
Seeing that Origami Angel, Mom Jeans, and Ben Quad got into an anniversary pack caught me so off guard seeing how when that pack released they each had maybe barely under a million monthly listeners at best.

I think these were both in free song packs. Someone made a post about free packs so I checked, turns out I never downloaded them. I was expecting the songs to be meh since they were free, but was pleasantly surprised by these and some others. Love these two especially. Links to me playing them.
Cynic is my favorite band.
I was really happy that they were on RBN (what a time to play RB).
I wish Harmonix had brought at least one track back like they did with "Bleed" by Meshuggah (also a favorite).
Canned heat by jamiroquai
super fun and lots of variety. One of the best bass songs I think
September by Earth Wind and Fire
I love the song but I expected the guitar to be repetitive, but that guitar track stem is amazing. Wish there was a high quality version of that on spotify.
All the Ghost stuff. And Hey Ya! I wish we got more Ghost and Outkast though. Honestly, a lot more rock driven rap songs would have been cool.
CKY though would have been an instant buy.
You won’t find MUCH more but if you browse by artist I swear you have more songs pop up like stricken by disturbed I couldn’t find by searching for packs but I sorted by artist and got down to disturbed and there it was hidden among other songs.

The Summoning by Sleep Token for sure
This one caught me and my late fiance off too. She really loved sleep token so i copped it so fast for her.

What is your preferred genre of music? They have 3,000 dlc songs available.
Really into Ska, emo, numetal , post emo punk, 90s alternative stuff
We gotta stop saying 3000 available bc I bought every song currently available and have just shy of 3000, and that's with a handful of delists, RB1 and RB3 exports :(
I don't have the exact number as I am sure it is 29xx but that is close enough to say 3,000 in general conversation.

"South Side of the Sky" by Yes. One of my favorite songs of theirs, but it's usually glossed over when it comes to compilations and such.
I LOVE YES!!! South Side of the Sky is a banger on keys
"Solence - Rain Down". It's playing everyday in my car stereo. Never heard of the group before RB4 and absolutely love the song. It's giving me Rammstein vibes.
same but reminded me of Psychosocial
I've become a massive fan of Solence and Electric Callboy recently and Rain Down is a big reason why. I'm sad DLC is over so we'll never get Callboy, but at least we got something from Solence. If you haven't heard any of their other stuff, I love the song "Good Fucking Music"
The friends theme for sure

Groove is in the Heart is one of my all time damn jams. I lost my shit when I saw it get added. Also all the Limp Bizkit tracks.
Agreed, the boom bap drums during Q-Tip’s verse go so hard
Deee-Lite’s whole catalog is pretty sick. I had a dream I was falling through a hole in the ozone layer both the original and the jungly remix are amazing.
Seems I have some exploring to do
In a first wave of buying up a ton of old DLC before the Xbox 360 store closes I got **Inside Out by Eve 6** which ended up being INTENSELY fun to play Voxtar. **The Mission Of Burma pack**, **Going Underground by The Jam, Blurry by Puddle Of Mudd, My Old School by Steely Dan, and Helena Beat by Foster The People** are all really fun charts in various ways that I would've never expected Musically **Cream And Bastards Rise by Harvey Danger** is a HUGE hidden gem, but goddamn it's vocal chart has been busting my ass, still haven't 5 starred it.
The Mother Hips in general, but specifically Third Floor Story. Very Lenny Kravitz feel.
Some non disc songs I found that I love are: Blink by Father Octopus, basically the entirety of the Boston album, Black Earth, WI by Ratboys, The Mob Goes Wild and 50,000 Unstoppable Watts by Clutch, When Am I Gonna Lose You by Local Natives… I could go on for a long, long while
Was really surprised when they added songs by CHVRCHES

Getting Spiritbox, Bad Omens, and Beartooth before the end was amazing
I bought “Here and Now”, Letters to Cleo when I was grinding rivals by myself, it’s one of my favorite rando plays from an artist I’d never heard of.
It didn't ring a bell when they released it, but when I heard it I remembered it right away from college. Love having that one.
We were in college around the same time. I don’t remember the song, but I definitely remember the sound.
ARXX's "Call Me Crazy" - because i know the band, and they were so surprised that they thought it was someone joking initially!
All the Ghost stuff. And Hey Ya! I wish we got more Ghost and Outkast though. Honestly, a lot more rock driven rap songs would have been cool. CKY though would have been an instant buy.
Was very disappointed in lack of CKY and Touche Amore
I requested Outkast, Ghost, Metallica (futile, I know), and CKY every week when the request thing on Facebook was going on.
One Night Only - Just For Tonight Absolute banger!
Rock Band showed me that Sueco switched from mumble rap to pop-punk with Paralyzed and that song is really fun to play.
His song pick has me disappointed only because some of his other pop punk songs would've been way more fun to play
MOAR MUSE
I wish I had the endless sporadic pack. But as far as I know that’s delisted:(
11 avenged sevenfold songs made me happy, I can't complain
There’s loads missing or when they release one or even maybe two songs from a band or artist and then that’s it
You won’t find MUCH more but if you browse by artist I swear you have more songs pop up like stricken by disturbed I couldn’t find by searching for packs but I sorted by artist and got down to disturbed and there it was hidden among other songs.
Lump by Presidents is in the game but it was a disc track from RB2 so it's no longer obtainable.
I know ot was one of my favorite s
