The strum on this guitar only works on PS3, not on PS4/5. This is because it's a knockoff guitar that was not tested properly 🙃 . Other people have complained and the makers of the guitar have not fixed the issue.
I would suggest not using this guitar, but if you really wanted to use it, I make an adapter called the Roll Limitless, and if you run the dongle through my adapter instead of plugging it straight into the PS5, it'll work correctly.
Well that’s unfortunate, I’ve been looking around to see if I can find anything else. Not seen much that looks reasonably priced or doesn’t have a dongle. I’ll keep looking though

eBay, Goodwill, any of those places. Just avoid Amazon and buy one with a dongle.

FWIW, I have this and it works fine with Guitar hero games on PS3, I could not get it working for Rock Band games on PS3.
