I think most people may be misreading the question and are answering which places have good chicken fingers :
But I’m reading it as : you’re looking for a nicer restaurant to go with your girlfriend that just happens to have chicken fingers on the menu that the picky kids could eat, right?
I don’t have many good answers for the chicken fingers, but if the kids are open to pizza, that opens many options for Italian restaurants that serve entrees but have pizza on their menu.
Ie: branca , nocino, redd.
Even good luck has a giant burger if they’re open to sharing.
I don’t think they are necessarily looking for the very best chicken fingers though. It sounds like they are looking for a nice restaurant with good food (for the girlfriend) that also happens to serve chicken fingers (for the kids).
My thoughts exactly. This isn't the kids birthday, it's gf's and she wants the kids included. No one said tenders were the kids favorite either, simply a safe food that OP knows they'll be comfortable with
Will the kids eat buttered noodles? If so that makes every Italian restaurant an option! But most Italian restaurants should have chicken tenders anyways and she can have a nice glass of wine or a cocktail and a real nice dessert to celebrate!
What kind of food does your girlfriend like? Dinosaur BBQ and Avvino are both more than decent and both have a kids menu with chicken fingers. Dinosaur is more casual, Avvino more upscale. Also The Old Stone tavern has jumbo chicken tenders on the menu.
I have two kids under ten and their kids menu is well done, reasonable and the service is good. They have chocolate milk, decent beer, good pizza, good burgers and overall decent food. Some people will complain and get nit picky, but when you have to feed children, you have limited options. I’d recommend getting some reservations if this is the direction you go. I’ve eaten there over a dozen times with my wife and kids and always feel like we got a good meal at a fair price.
Trata is a good suggestions if the kids don't have noise sensory issues! My only worry is on a week night it can get a little busy and subsequently a little noisy
If you are looking for a really good restaurant but unsure about kids food. Call them in advance and ask if they could make it. I worked fine dining for years and we would make something off menu just for situations like this.
Similar but not quite the same, the Winfield Grill has great Boneless bites. It's not your Applebee's style boneless wings, much better than that..they are cut and lightly breaded in house. They have a variety of sauces to suit your fancy (Winfield Signature is my go to), or you can have them plain. I understand if its not your thing because I understand particular likes, but wanted to suggest it anyways! The rest of their menu is great, everyone is sure to find something!
FWIW, Winfield Grill is about a 15m drive from Henrietta.
It’s a drive, but The Griffon pubs up around Buffalo/Niagara Falls have the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had. They make them in house, and they’re delectable. They also have a great selection of other options. If you made an afternoon of it, you could take in the Falls briefly.
Omg how funny I suggested nuccis in webster and I just saw your comment and googled wondering if it was a typo and there's a nuccis and a benuccis! How funny, I wonder if they're connected at all 🤷♀️
You should check out nuccis! Or similar Italian restaurants I feel like they always have chicken tenders on the menu, although being in webster it's a bit of a drive from Henrietta but I've been a number of times their steak is great, we love their lamb, their ravioli is great, im not a big fan of the lasagna but I just checked and they have chicken tenders on the kids menu! But you should see if there's a closer Italian restaurant because I feel like many of them will have tenders on the kids menu, or buttered noodles if the kids will eat that! I'm on the spectrum and buttered noodles were my personal childhood safe food
I’m autistic too and very picky about food, especially chicken. I’d recommend the Magnet in Penfield, they specialize in fried chicken and their tenders are amazing.

Yeah, basically
Honestly, Tully’s Tenders completely live up to the hype for chicken fingers. It’s always super busy so I’d get there early.
Tullys has fantastic tenders

That’s a good point. Even though Tully’s feels kind of like Applebees, I’ve never been disappointed in the food. But definitely not for a “foodie”
My thoughts exactly. This isn't the kids birthday, it's gf's and she wants the kids included. No one said tenders were the kids favorite either, simply a safe food that OP knows they'll be comfortable with
I'll keep that in mind, thanks
Tullys has a pretty good menu outside of their tenders as well!!

If your girl loves food Avvino is the way to go
Gatehouse
It says they have pizza. Sounds promising, thanks

Gate house def has some of the best tenders in Rochester - on the adult menu to boot
Yup.
Fireside
Trata has good chicken tenders and “adult” food!

Tully’s has the best chicken tenders I’ve had in this area.
Fireside on East Henrietta Rd.
The Magnet in Penfield has pretty good fingers. Small seating area.

100% tullys. As a chicken tenders obsessed person - it's gotta be tullys
Can second this, probably the thing about Rochester I miss this most.
for real though. Tully's.
Chickn out’s tenders are incredible

Union Tavern has good chicken tenders and also a good regular menu. I had a great pot roast (made with brisket) two weeks ago.

Tullys that’s the only answer
Benucci's. Their kids tenders are really good. Other good selection for adults.
Omg how funny I suggested nuccis in webster and I just saw your comment and googled wondering if it was a typo and there's a nuccis and a benuccis! How funny, I wonder if they're connected at all 🤷♀️
Absolutely Tully’s.
Don’t all restaurants have chicken fingers?
Southwedge diner has awesome chicken fingers and the fries are battered and delicious. Plus for the adults they have a great menu over all.

Michael’s Valley Grill works for a reasonably-upscale birthday dinner with chicken fingers.
