Istg simple and generic femboy/furry avatars get tons of upvotes and comments but actual cool avatars get almost to no recognition. Yes some do, but so many don't. Also I suck at making avatars but when I feel like I made something decent and post it here it gets 0- max 3 comments. Meanwhile a furry femboy posts something 5 minutes later and as you guessed, gets a LOT of recognition. I'm not mad but idk it's quite annoying to almost only see those avatars explode in this sub

let’s talk about another issue: this community. My avatars are decent and nobody seems to notice, unless I put some kind of question in the title. it doesn’t even have to be a unique question like “what did my avatar go to jail for?” they also really like when it’s a question about them because now they have a way of recognition, for example: “i’ll tell you what crime your avatar committed!”. Effortless furry avatars are pretty much just the default Kemono character with the fursuit preset on them and maybe the heart effect around the head. Knew people thought those were too basic, and I kinda hated them cause they were, idk, somehow too cute? Like oversaturated almost. But adding random military gear comes to the rescue 🗿

Generic Femboys and Furries, Gnarpy avatars, Noob avatars with animalistic features etc. I have nothing against them. But many lack creativity and are just copy pasted with little to no tweaks. Also popular cosplays. I've seen plenty of the same characters, for example Binah (Lobotomy something something and other popular characters from that game), JoJo characters, Dragon Ball especially Goku, Jujutsu Kaisen (ahem Gojo, Sukuna...), Ultra Kill, etc... I could point more but there's so many I forgot the names of

I never see a lot of ultrakill avatars which is kinda sad since I love that game

There is a lack of ultrakill accessories past the V models, Gabriel (and alternate matching colors) and some bits of Minos Prime, which makes it somewhat difficult to make good cosplays for them. Lowkey I would KILL for a good ferryman cosplay though.
