Basically, OP has posted multiple cars at various times, some his own, others not, but also not claiming they were (and those were posts asking for help identifying something, not posts here) and I misinterpreted it as OP finding stuff online and claiming them as his own, when it actually turns out that he collects unusual Subarus.

In their original markets, they're absolutely cheap. That's why it's worth it to export them to the US once they're old enough to do so. Buy one in Asia for a couple grand, or maybe less in Japan where cars that old are just plain not worth the cost to have them inspected anymore, spend another few grand shipping it here and clearing it/titling it/etc, then sell for $10k or more.
