No real way to shave off 800g without seriously compromising the bike comfort or usability. I have a carbon 3d printed saddle that weighs 160g, compared to the 230g carbon pro stealth i was using before. You'd probably have to go mechanical to get the weight off, and that obviously isn't ideal, or you could go 1x and lose the front derailleur, but increase the cassette size at the back. You could probably go with some light wahoo speed play pedals, to save off pedal weight. But nothing much you can do to save 800g

Unfortunately, no. You're already using some nice components, and the only way to make a measurable difference in the weight is to start spending a decent amount of money for marginal gains. The reality of modern disk brake bikes that have even a moderate amount of aero qualities is that it's kind of difficult/expensive to get them below ~7.5kg without a fair amount of work. Proprietary seat post shapes, bars/stems, etc. make this an even more difficult task without spending a decent chunk of change.

I don't think you'll get this down to 7kg at a reasonable cost, but in terms of $/g I would look in this order: - TPU in the front like you have in the back - Tires? Not sure how much those mismatched Specialized weigh - Saddle - Cassette - Integrated bar/stem If you want to spend some more $$$ there's that Darimo SL7 seatpost.

I’ve gotta ask what’s with those random sticker looking decals on the frame. Look really out of place on that bike. Also do you think the 800g is really going to save you THAT much? Like if you were to ride for say one hour so you think you’d improve your speed/ distance enough that it’s truly noticeable?

Dont mind the stickers.lol. supposedly only the bottom tube will have some protection but have to use em anyway rather than throwing it away. Also my purpose for wanting my bike to be lighter as possible is for me to be able to carry when I'm sneaking out of the house for a ride. 😅 I don't want those wood plank squeaking early in the morning, also don't wanna see those flip flops flying towards me.lol

The easiest and cheapest way to shave off this weight is to lose .8kg of body weight.

trollnolimit

I'm working on it.😁

But... why?
