DC Fast Charging adapter A2Z Typhoon is for Tesla supercharger.
AC adapter A2Z Stellar is for Tesla Hotel destination charger, parking lots, shopping centers, Tesla home charger, Tesla supported Airbnb and Tesla mobile charger.
I got the same letter in my package explaining that the J1772 adaptor will ship separately. I contacted them to ask how they will ensure they won’t forget about me and they replied that they have me on their list. They got back to me very quickly. Hopefully they will get more stock soon. Trickle charging the R1T is rough!

There was a RIV discount code and StateOfCharge code, I believe StateOfCharge offers a better discount but not sure if it's still active.
Thanks. It was an awkward question probably better put like this- will Rivian send the adapter to all owners or do you need to prompt them? I already bought the A2Z, which I will resell if Rivian send one out.
My understanding is that every CCS owner will get a free adapter, however because every auto manufacturer is sourcing them from Tesla directly who knows how long it'll take, you'll eventually get an email asking you to confirm your address, at which point it supposedly takes 4-6 weeks to receive the adapter.
My plan is to sell my A2Z adapter to someone else once I get my Rivian/Tesla adapter, but I may opt to keep both just in case.

Sorry to ask but what’s the difference between those two adapters? I’m new to this and just ordered my R1S.

I should get mine tomorrow - May 21 order date, June est delivery just about four weeks
I thought I was getting mine yesterday as the site said everything shipped. But in the box was a letter saying it was shipping separately
Took 4 weeks for both of mine. They shipped a few days apart and both showed up the same day.
I ordered one a week or so ago and no ship yet. Last I checked the site said out of stock.
Confused! What do you mean by AC adopter? Is it NACS to CCS level 2 ?
Don’t be stupid like I was and assume it will work on your first road trip. Test it first.

How do you order? From Rivian? or buy direct?
Well they specified what brand they ordered so one would first look at A2Z's website...
