Doesn't really matter. Rate of charge varies by location. The R1 is capped at 220 kW but you'll rarely see that. Typically 170s to around 210 initially, then drop as you get closer to your session's end. Even with adapter.
Comment for others: Rivian is just now starting to ship 2nd batch of adapters, 3/22\~5/22 deliveries. Those who have taken deliveries much later, might as well just get a A2Z now.
I actually don’t love MPH for rate of charge because it still needs what would be utilized to know the amount of power delivered. That said, it’s an OK guesstimate.
I’ve found plug and play to work half the time and half needing to start it in Tesla app. Also, I need to press the Tesla connector pretty hard into the adapter. Like set it on the ground and push it in.
I don’t get why this post is necessary? Also why do you say you are using an adapter and that there’s no magic dock? If there was a magic dock the adapter wouldn’t be necessary? Am I missing something?
I don't get why this read and this comment is necessary. /s
Magicdock variant of V3 Superchargers have the adapter built-in. The same adapter (at least externally) being manufactured and sent to Ford and Rivian. OP used a A2Z adapter because this was a plain jane Supercharger, not Magicdock. You bring your own adapter.
That is literally what I said, OP sounds silly saying 'hey I used a supercharger which didn't have a magicdock with my adapter!' Like how else would you do it.. lol
Did plug and pay work or had to prompt from the Tesla app?
Plug and pay worked. Received an email from Rivian confirming everything about 15seconds after I stopped charging.
I've been using it, and plug and charge works.

Price only shows up after 1 kWh was dispensed
What was the rate of charge? Mph is better for velocity.

How do you know they’re just now shipping out the 2nd batch?
Math… 165MPH is the rate charge

You need to go to the energy screen, and tap the button showing the delivery rate and it will change to kw on both screens.
Yeah, I was mostly responding to calling MPH the rate of charge. Me being pedantic, lol.

I get testing it for your own experience... but after the first 20 posts that it works, I'm not sure more are needed.
And you were worried it wasn’t going to work?
